Des recherches futures devraient répliquer <strong>une</strong> expérience semblable à celle-ci afin de tester à nouveau notre hypothèse, à condition, bien évidemment, d'y inclure quelques modifications : c'est dans cette optique que nous avons proposé un design de testing alternatif dans le chapitre précédent (point 2.2.2). Une réplication de notre recherche est cruciale dans le sens où l’observation d’<strong>une</strong> stratégie de coping persévérante dans le cas de problèmes solubles et insolubles permettrait d’expliquer le processus explicatif sous-tendant la <strong>corrélation</strong> positive observée précédemment <strong>entre</strong> l'I.E.-trait et l'asymétrie préfrontale. Un tel résultat autorisera le lien <strong>entre</strong> les deux champs de recherche, non seulement sur <strong>une</strong> base neurologique (hypothèse 1), mais également sur la base d’<strong>une</strong> stratégie de coping comm<strong>une</strong>. Encore <strong>une</strong> fois, <strong>il</strong> ne faut pas perdre de vue que les résultats que nous avons observés face à des problèmes artificiels (comme les anagrammes) ne sont pas généralisables et qu'<strong>il</strong> faudrait vérifier si des résultats analogues apparaissent face à des problèmes complexes de la vie courante. 97
