handling of derivational affixes. Our game is aiming young people (specifically
elementary school aged children), and is characterized by the significant exploitation
of oral modality, with a possible bracing through the writing, especially for older
children.
With this in mind, we created a booklet in which some affixes were personified,
to improve knowledge retention. Moreover, we also included several games with
particular prefixes or suffixes or generalization of the concept of « word families ».
Over the presentation of this material to eleven children and five speech therapists,
some adjustments have been made. It also follows that addressing the morphology in
a targeted way can be playful and would be worth going further a more substantial
number of sessions to expand the lexicon.
