History (describe main stages of the development of your organisation)<br />

Valladolid University General Foundation (FGUVA in Spanish) was created by the University of Valladolid<br />

in order to make closer relations b<strong>et</strong>ween the University and the Soci<strong>et</strong>y and to contribute to the<br />

improvement of the services supplied to the university community. It started activity in September 1996<br />

and in 1999 it was involved in a merging process with the University-Enterprise Foundation of Valladolid<br />

(FUEVA). As a result of that merging process, since the 19th of October 1999 the General Foundation<br />

assumed all resources, rights and duties coming from FUEVA.<br />

Main fi gures of the University of Valladolid: 4 University Campus (Soria, Palencia, Segovia and Valladolid);<br />

University since the XIII century; 72 degrees off ered in 2006; 23986 students at First and Second Cycles;<br />

59 departments; 2505 teaching staff (1539 of them are Doctors).
