– Technology Transfer, Brasil (2001–2007), carried out for GTZ: To improve the productivity and<br />
comp<strong>et</strong>itiveness and generate new employment, SENAI and selected SENAITECs technological<br />
consultancy services and training capabilities for small and medium enterprises in the northeast of<br />
Brazil for shall be improved.<br />
– Vocational Training, Yemen (2000 – June 2006), carried out for the European Union: The reform of<br />
the vocational education and training system in Yemen i supported through the establishment of<br />
three training centres which will provide skilled workers for the hotel and tourism sector, oil and gas<br />
related service industries and for companies which seek to employ skilled and qualifi ed women.<br />
– TVET Reform, Honduras (2004 – 2008), carried out for the European Union: The objective of the<br />
project is to strengthen the national vocational training system of Honduras in overcoming some<br />
of it’s most important problems like a lack of internationally recognised quality standards, a lack of<br />
human resources trained according to the actual needs of the world of labour mark<strong>et</strong>; not suffi ciently<br />
qualifi ed teachers and a lack of a m<strong>et</strong>hodological basis for theor<strong>et</strong>ical and practical courses to impart<br />
trainees the necessary technical knowledge.<br />
– Study on Sector fi nancing Mechanisms of the Education Sector, Lebanon (2004 to 2006), carried<br />
out for IBRD: An in-depth analysis of the complex nature of sources for fi nancing within the Lebanese<br />
educational sector is carried out in order to provide the Ministry of Education and Higher Education<br />
with a thorough basis for the envisaged educational reform.<br />
– Dual Training Malaysia (2001 – 2005), carried out for GTZ: The project builds up, supports and<br />
sustains a co-operative system of vocational education and training in order to satisfy the labour<br />
mark<strong>et</strong> requirements for adequately qualifi ed skilled workers.<br />
– Developing of CVT System under Phare „National Vocational Training Project”, Poland (2002–<br />
2003), carried out for the European Union: the project improved the decision making progress in<br />
employment and education policies, ensured high quality training off ered within the continuing<br />
education system as well as transparency of qualifi cations and facilitated fast and fl exible training for<br />
adults, adjusted to the needs of the labour mark<strong>et</strong><br />
