2000 to 2006 2008–2009 €QUALIFISE Project European Financial Planning Association (€FPA),<br />

N<strong>et</strong>herlands<br />

CamProf managed the €uropean Qualifi cation Assurance League In Financial Services, an EQF project,<br />

funded under the EU Lifelong Learning Programme The project was awarded the top mark of the Call.<br />

It s<strong>et</strong> up a European Financial Services (FS) Qualifi cations League to promote the Copenhagen process<br />

(particularly EQF) and to ensure that the EQF levels assigned to fi nancial qualifi cations by national<br />

organisations are reliable and consistent throughout Europe. It developed a m<strong>et</strong>hodology for assigning EQF<br />

levels, recognising the distinction b<strong>et</strong>ween knowledge-based qualifi cations and professional comp<strong>et</strong>ence<br />

qualifi cations; assigned EQF to the FS Qualifi cations and to the NQF in the partner countries;<br />

2007 to 2008 i-Lab Development Partnership (University of Essex)<br />

Designed €0.4M project to develop the concept and practice of innovation labs. i-Labs created in Poland,<br />

Romania, Turkey. CamProf was International coordinator of project, created: design manual, user manual,<br />

training for facilitators, user group.<br />

2006–2007 Stre<strong>et</strong>s Technical Academy & Resource (STAR) (Transport for London)<br />

£0.5M project to develop systems to support professional development for traffi c and transport<br />

professionals. Developed: comp<strong>et</strong>ence framework, e-learning modules, induction course, performance<br />

appraisals, websites.<br />

2006–2008 Professional Status for Traffi c & Transport (ProStaTT)<br />

Designed, wrote bid and won £60K funding, project managed pilot project to test new national Qualifi cations<br />

and Credit Framework. Partnership with all the major transport professional bodies. Developed new<br />

qualifi cations, assessment procedures.<br />

2006–2008 €uropean Financial Advisor (€FA) European Financial Planning Association (€FPA),<br />

N<strong>et</strong>herlands<br />

Wrote bid and managed fi nancial sector Leonardo project to develop comp<strong>et</strong>ences, qualifi cation and webbased<br />

assessment tool for fi nancial advisors. Bid was top-rated Dutch project.<br />

2006 International Forum for Construction Occupational Standards (ConstructionSkills SSC)<br />

Designed and implemented the follow-on IFCOS project to identify and learn from international best<br />

practice in ‘modern m<strong>et</strong>hods of construction’ (off -site manufacturing, off -site production, off -site fabrication,<br />

modular construction, pre-fabrication, pre-assembly, standardisation) and the knowledge, skills, Standards<br />

and Qualifi cations required by Installers, Site Supervisors and Managers. Worked with and extended the<br />

IFCOS n<strong>et</strong>work (Australia, Belgium, Canada, Estonia, New Zealand, Romania, UK).<br />

2006 Review of Roles & Responsibilities in the Lifelong Learning Sector(Lifelong Learning UK SSC)<br />

Undertook a major review of standards and qualifi cations of those who teach across the Learning and Skills<br />

sector, including identifying the roles and responsibilities of those responsible for the delivery of learning in<br />

the many varied contexts that exist, so that new qualifi cations refl ect the diversity.<br />

2006 Study Tour for BOTUS Training (Poland)<br />

S<strong>et</strong> up a study tour for the Managing Director of a Polish private training provider (BOTUS) to investigate the<br />

demand for their trainees to work in the UK construction sector. BOTUS provides training and accreditation<br />

for construction plant operators and craftsmen.<br />

2005 Study Tour for Management Board of Espoo City (Finland)<br />

Organised a repeat visit by the Espoo City Management Board to study new developments in support for<br />

high tech companies in the global environment. Included visits to city, regional and university contacts and<br />

a business incubator for start-ups.<br />
