105. Wales's Lamentation; or an Elegy on the worthy and very much<br />

lamented Mr. Henry Williams, Minister <strong>of</strong> the Gospel in North Wales.<br />

An anonymous broadside, without date or imprint. The subject, Henry<br />

Williams, who iived at Ysgafel!,near Newtown, in Montgomeryshire, was one<br />

<strong>of</strong> the coadjutors <strong>of</strong> Vavasor Powell, the great plunderer <strong>of</strong> church property<br />

in the time <strong>of</strong> the Commonweaith. He died in 1684, and was buried in his own<br />

garden. The elegy was probably printed in the same year. See Collections histo-<br />

rical and archaological relating to Montgomeryshire, IV, 179.<br />

tibus qui nullo negotio ex Anglicana, cœteras linguas cum earum etymo-<br />

logijs, ordine alphabetico invenire possunt, deniq; extraneis, si ex his<br />

congestis, alphabetum vnius vel plurium aliarum linguarum, sibi cum<br />

numeris arithmeticis concinnare voluerunt. Opéra, studio, industria,<br />
