79. Gweledigaetheu y Bardd Cwsc. Y Rhann Cyntaf.
Argraphedig yn y Mwythig, ac ar werth yno gan Richard Lathrop,
Gwerthwr Llyfrau.
An édition of Bardd Cwsg hitherto unknown to Welsh bibliographers. It has
no date, and the exact year can be only matter of conjecture. Richard Lathrop
printed at Shrewsbury from about the year 1740 to about 1745, the work ascri-
bed to his press in Ll. y C. (p. 263) under 1687 being antedated by upwards
of fifty years. This date (1740-1745) shows that the présent is the second of
the recorded éditions, and that the issue of 1755, hitherto considered the
second, should be regarded as the third. Like al! the early éditions, it is not
divided into paragraphs. See a fuller account of it in the Traethodydd for
January, 1873, p. 47; and compare the préface to the Carmarthen édition of 1865.
80. The Mysterie of Iniquitie, or a Remarkable Relation of a Carmar-
thenshire Cause, being the Transactions and Différences between William
Williams, Gentleman Prisoner in the Fleet, and Morgan Owens
and Owen Price, the Earl of Carbery and other confederates to get an
Estate by the Destruction of the Innocent.
Printed in February, 1655, 4to, pp. 17.
81. Ychydig Ddyrifau i Annog hen ac leuaingc, i gofio Angeu, ai
Oruchafiaeth ar bob Congcwerwr, iw cânu ar fesur a elwir breuddwyd
Daf. Rhys.
No imprint. The name of Thomas Dafydd is subscribed to each of thèse
homely lyrics.
82. Rhybudd Benywaidd. Yn rhoddi Cyflawn a chywir Hanes un Mary
