ABSTRACT : Cameras are currently used for flight tests at Dassault Aviation. From this point of view, armament tests are the most constraining ones. Up to now, 16 mm cameras are used as a measurement means for highly dynamic phenomenons. A digital cameras evaluation gave very good quality pictures, meeting armament flight tests requirements. Nevertheless, some points are not yet evaluated in flight, particularly resistance at low temperature and electromagnetic environment. The highly evolutive cameras market will certainly give us, in the months to come, a product suitable for our needs at a reasonable price.
