Your safety and the safety of others are very important.<br />

We have provi<strong>de</strong>d many important safety messages in this manual and on your appliance. Always read and obey all<br />

safety messages.<br />

This is the safety alert symbol.<br />

This symbol alerts you to potential hazards that can kill or hurt you and others.<br />

All safety messages will follow the safety alert symbol and either the word “DANGER” or<br />

“WARNING.” These words mean:<br />

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS<br />

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons when using the appliance, follow basic precautions,<br />

service person for examination and repair. Incorrect<br />

reassembly or repair could cause a risk of fire, electric<br />

shock, or injury to persons when the appliance is used.<br />

■ If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, a 12-ampere<br />

rated cord should be used. Cords rated for less amperage<br />

may overheat. Care should be taken to arrange the cord so<br />

that the cord cannot be pulled or tripped over.<br />

■ Always disconnect appliance from electrical outlet when filling<br />

with water, emptying, and when not in use.<br />
