LANDS AND THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY RESPECTING<br />

SOCIAL INSURANCE. SIGNED AT BONN, ON 29 MARCH 1951 1<br />

SIXTH ADDITIONAL AGREEMENT 2 TO THE ABOVE-MENTIONED CONVENTION, CON-<br />

CERNING THE APPLICATION OF GERMAN LEGISLATION ON OLD AGE PENSIONS<br />

FOR FARMERS. SIGNED AT THE HAGUE, ON 24 MAY 1965<br />

The Kingdom of the Netherlands and<br />

The Federal Republic of Germany,<br />

Seeking to regulate the application to Netherlands nationals of the German<br />

legislation on old age pensions for farmers,<br />

Desiring to determine the conditions under which benefits under the old age<br />

pension scheme for farmers shall be payable to Netherlands nationals who habitually<br />

reside in the territory of the Netherlands,<br />

Have, pursuant to article 2, paragraph (2) (a), of the Convention of 29 March<br />

1951 1 between the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Federal Republic of<br />

Germany respecting social insurance, agreed as follows:<br />

Article 1<br />

For purposes of the application of this Agreement:<br />

1. The term " the Convention " means the Convention of 29 March 1951 between<br />

the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Federal Republic of Germany respecting<br />

social insurance;<br />

2. The term " territory " means,<br />

in the case of the Federal Republic of Germany, the territory in which the<br />

Basic Law for the Federal Republic of Germany is in force;<br />

in the case of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the territory of the Kingdom<br />

in Europe;<br />

3. The term " national " means,<br />

in the case of the Federal Republic of Germany, a German within the meaning<br />

of the Basic Law for the Federal Republic of Germany;<br />

in the case of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, a person of Netherlands nationality;<br />
