on the provision of technical assistance is signed between the Government<br />

of Barbados and the <strong>United</strong> <strong>Nations</strong> Development Programme, both the<br />

Government of Barbados and the <strong>United</strong> <strong>Nations</strong> Development Programme<br />

should consider themselves mutually bound by the provisions of the Revised<br />

Standard Agreement, signed on 8 July 1960, between the Technical<br />

Assistance Board and the Government of the <strong>United</strong> Kingdom of Great<br />

Britain and Northern Ireland, acting on behalf of theTrust, Non Self-Governing<br />

and other Territories for whose international relations the Government of<br />

the <strong>United</strong> Kingdom is responsible.<br />

I should appreciate it if you would kindly indicate your Government's<br />

acceptance of this proposal. This letter together with your Government's<br />

reply will then constitute an agreement in the matter.<br />

I am directed by the Prime Minister to refer to your letter 04 Barbados<br />

of 20th December, 1966, and to inform you that the Government of Barbados<br />

agrees that until such time as a standard agreement on the provision<br />

of technical assistance is signed between the Government of Barbados and<br />

the <strong>United</strong> <strong>Nations</strong> Development Programme, both the Government of Barbados<br />

and the <strong>United</strong> <strong>Nations</strong> Development Programme should consider<br />

themselves mutually bound by the provisions of the Revised Standard Agreement,<br />

signed on 8 July 1960, between the Technical Assistance Board and<br />

the Government of the <strong>United</strong> Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern<br />
