Deputy Ministers Deputy Ministers are listed in the range in which their total salary for the year falls and in the department they were employed on 31 December. If the deputy held more then one position throughout the year, their total salary is shown in the last department in which they were employed. Employees Employees are listed in the range in which their total salary for the year falls and in the department they were employed on 31 December. This list includes all employees whose total actual salary exceeded $60,000 during the calendar year. Employees paid below that threshold are not included. The salary reported includes regular earnings, overtime, personal service contracts and any other employee remuneration, except retirement allowance and severance payouts. RETIREMENT ALLOWANCE / SEVERANCE PAY This list shows employees who received retirement allowances or severance payments in excess of $10,000 during the calendar year, in ranges commencing with $10,000. Employees with payments below that threshold are not included. PAYMENTS FOR TRAVEL AND OTHER EMPLOYEE EXPENSES This list includes payments totaling $12,000 or more made to employees for travel and other employee expenses. Employees are shown with the actual expense amount paid (not in ranges). Amounts paid to employees below the $12,000 threshold are not shown, with the exception of Ministers who are shown regardless of thresholds. For Ministers and Deputy Ministers who held more then one position throughout the year, their entire expense amount is shown in the last department held with disclosure indicating the amount incurred in the previous department. Car allowances paid are shown separately, regardless of the amount.
