6. Le Cloître
Situé au nord-ouest de la Collégiale, le cloître, reconstruit et prolongé vers 1380 sur les fondations
déjà existantes, fut restauré en 1551 puis en 1906. Il présente une série d’arcades de style ogival et
ses galeries sont couvertes d’un toit en appentis.
Der nordwestlich der Stiftskirche gelegene Kreuzgang wurde auf älteren Fundamenten im 14. Jahrhundert
neu erbaut und 1551 restauriert. Er hat zweiteilige Spitzbogenfenster. Offenes Pultdach.
The fourteenth century cloister, located northwest of the collegiate church, was built on the foundations
of an earlier structure and restored in 1551. It features ogive windows, many of them with a
three-part section, and a pent roof.
7. Le musée lapidaire
Ancienne église St-Pierre, démolie en 1898, reconstruite en 1982 au fond du cloître de la collégiale. Le
nouveau musée lapidaire contient des sarcophages monolithiques mérovingiens et carolingiens ainsi que
des éléments d’architecture et de sculpture des anciennes constructions de la cité de Saint-Ursanne.
Ehemalige Pfarrkirche St. Pierre, 1898 abgerissen, 1982 wieder im hinteren Teil des Kreuzgangs
aufgebaut. Das Lapidarium enthält merowingische und karolingische Mono-lithsarkophage, sowie
Architektur- und Bildhauerelemente von alten Bauten von Saint-Ursanne.
This was the former parish church of St. Peters. It was torn down in 1898 and then rebuilt at the
back of the cloister in 1982. Here visitors will find sarcophagi from both the Merovingian and the
Carolingian period as well as architectural pieces and pieces of sculptures from old buildings in
Saint-Ursanne.
8. Fontaine du Mai
SAINT-URSANNE
Fontaine datant de 1591, dressée en face de la Collégiale et de l’Hôtel de Ville. Oeuvre de Pierrat Monnin,
retouchée en 1678 par Pierre Jeannerat. Bassin octogonal construit en 1854 par Pierre Chavanne.
Fût moderne surmonté de la statue de Saint-Ursanne avec un ours à ses pieds (début 17e siècle).
Chapiteau avec poissons et cornes d’abondance.

verändert. Achteckiges Becken von 1854 von Pierre Chavanne. Moderner Schaft überragt von einer Statue
von Saint-Ursanne mit einem Bären zu Füssen (angfangs 17. Jahrhundert). Kapitell mit Fischen und Füllhörnern.
Fountain dating back to 1591, located in front of the collegiate church and the city hall. The original design
of this fountainis attributed to Pierrat Monnin; it was then somewhat altered by Pierre Jeannerat in 1678.
It features an octogonal basin crafted by Pierre Chavanne in 1854. The modern shaft supports a statue of
Saint-Ursanne with a bear at his feet (beginning of the 17th century). The capital is decorated with fich and
several horns of plenty.
