14. Maison Wicka<br />
Reconstruite au début du 17 e siècle par la famille Wicka. Restaurée en 1975 et 1976, la maison<br />
Wicka accueillit de 1976 à 1978 le Bureau de l’Assemblée constituante jurassienne. Aujourd’hui<br />
propriétaire, la commune bourgeoise y loge son administration.<br />
Im 17. Jahrhundert von der Familie Wicka wieder aufgebautes Gebäude. Das Haus wurde 1975-1976<br />
restauriert und war von 1976 bis 1978 der Sitz des Büros der Assemblée constituante jurassienne<br />
(der jurassischen Verfassungsversammlung). Heute gehört das Gebäude der Bürgergemeinde von<br />
Delémont, deren Verwaltung sich darin befindet.<br />
This house was rebuilt by the Wicka family at the beginning of the seventeenth century. It was restored<br />
in 1975-1976 and from 1976 to 1978, the office of the <strong>Jura</strong> Constitutional Assembly (Assemblée<br />
constituante jurassienne) was located here. Today the building belongs to the citizenry of Delémont;<br />
it houses its administration.<br />
15. Fontaine Saint-Henri<br />
La fontaine Saint-Henri, devant l’ancien Hôpital de la ville, date de 1854. Le fût est surmonté d’une<br />
copie en bronze (1872) d’une statue du 15 e siècle représentant Henri II, empereur germanique de<br />
1014 à 1024.<br />
Der St. Heinrichsbrunnen vor dem ehemaligen Stadtspital ist von 1854. Auf dem Schaft befindet sich<br />
die Bronze-Kopie (1872) einer Statue aus dem 15. Jahrhundert von Heinrich II, dem deutschen Kaiser,<br />
der zwischen 1014 und 1024 regierte.<br />
St. Henry’s Fountain which stands in front of the former city hospital dates back to 1854. On the shaft,<br />
you will see the bronze copy (done in 1872) of a 15 th century statue of Heinrich II, the German Kaiser<br />
who ruled between 1014 and 1024.<br />
16. Ancien Hospice<br />
Ce bâtiment, érigé en 1698, destiné à être un hôpital a été jugé beaucoup trop somptueux pour des<br />
malades. On y installa alors les religieuses ursulines, leur couvent et leur école de filles. Il ne reçu son<br />
premier malade que 150 ans après sa construction.<br />
Dieses 1698 gebaute Gebäude war ursprünglich als Spital geplant worden. Nachdem es beendet war,<br />
hielt man es viel zu feudal für die Kranken. Es wurde ein Ursulinerinnenkloster mit dazugehöriger Mädchenschule.<br />
Erst 150 Jahre nach dem Ende der Bauarbeiten wurde der erste Kranke darin aufgenommen.<br />
Originally this building, constructed in 1698, was designed to be a hospital. However, upon completion,<br />
the authorities deemed it far too lavish for the sick. Instead, it was served as a cloister for the<br />
Ursiline Sisters and and provided the space they needed for their girls’ school. It wasn’t until 150<br />
years later that the first patient was treated in this building.
