INStrUCtIONS
This appliance is not intended for use by
people (including children) with limited physical,
sensory, or mental abilities or by people
lacking experience and/or know-how, unless
they are supervised by a person responsible
for their safety or are given instruction on how
to use the appliance.
This vacuum cleaner is intended for household
use only and for dry use only. Do not use the
vacuum cleaner to clean persons or animals.
Any other uses of the appliance are performed
at the user's own risk and may be dangerous.
Do not use the vacuum cleaner for any
non-standard purposes, and do not leave it
unattended while in operation.
The manufacturer is not responsible for any
damage or injury caused by use that is not in
accordance with regulations or by improper
usage.
Connect the appliance to 230 v. alternating
current only. The socket should be protected
using a 16-ampere fuse. If other appliances
with a high connected wattage are operating
on the same circuit, the fuse may blow when
the vacuum cleaner is switched on. This can be
avoided by setting the vacuum cleaner to its
lowest cleaning setting (min) before switching
it on, and then increasing the power setting to
the desired level once the motor is running.
Do not use the appliance without a filter bag
and a motor protection filter.
To avoid risk of overheating or damage, pull
out at least two thirds of the power cord when
using the appliance for a longer time.
If the power cord is damaged, the entire cord
and reel must be exchanged by a qualified
customer service agent.
Do not vacuum hot ash, large pieces of broken
glass, pointed objects or fluids.
Do not vacuum toner dust, which is used in
devices such as printers or copiers. It may
conduct electricity, and the filtering system
may fail to remove this substance completely,
thereby causing it to be released back into the
atmosphere through the blower.
Always remove the power plug after use and
before cleaning the appliance or changing the
filter.
Repairs of electrical appliances should only be
performed by a qualified expert. Attempts by
the user to perform repairs may expose the
user to major hazards.
Do not store the appliance in close proximity
to a hot oven or heating unit.
Children do not understand the dangers
which may arise when electrical appliances
are used. Therefore, never let children operate
electrical appliances without supervision.
