at) and logged off, then tryy to erase the browser historyy so the next person
can’t see where yyou’ve been. Also delete anyy cookies if yyou can. And make
sure yyou didn’t download personal files to the computer. If yyou do, then tryy
to delete the file or files from the desktop or downloads folder when yyou’re
finished.
Unfortunatelyy, though, just deleting the file isn’t enough. Next yyou will
need to emptyy the trash. That still doesn’t fullyy remove the deleted stuff
from the computer—I can retrieve the file after yyou leave if I want to.
Thankfullyy, most people don’t have the abilityy to do that, and usuallyy
deleting and emptyying the trash will suffice.
All these steps are necessaryy to be invisible on a public terminal.
