2.5.–31.12. IF IT HAD BEEN ME
The new Centre of War and Peace, Muisti (Memory), is
under construction in the headquarters city Mikkeli. The
centre will operate as a nationally and internationally
significant information centre and online service. The
2017 exhibition in the Headquarters Museum provides
a sample of interactive exhibitions in the future centre.
The If it had been me exhibition brings the visitor closer
to the feelings and memories of those who have lived
through war. The experiences of children, women and
men in our last wars are observed. The exhibition
combines digital aspects with art and war history.
This is a story we must not forget.
The Marshal´s Saloon Car

• Admission 3 €, under 18-year-olds free, groups (more than 12)
2,50 €/person. A joint ticket to the Headquarters Museum and the
Communications Centre Lokki 7 €/person, groups 6 €/person.
Visits outside opening hours on working days 60 €/group plus
admissions, on Sundays and on holidays 100 €/group plus
admissions.
Free admission on June 4 (Defence Forces’ Day).
If you need to cancel a group visit to the museum, please do so no
later than 24 hours before the scheduled visit. Otherwise the museum
will have to charge you the price of a visit outside opening hours.
The Second World War Communications Centre Lokki
operated from the underground caverns of Naisvuori.
