Ceremonies<br />
There are more than plenty of reasons to face our fantastic<br />
traditional ceremony in <strong>Donau</strong>eschingen with enthusiasm.<br />
One of my favorite standpoints is directly connected with the<br />
name. Out of my point of view the featuring showed during<br />
the last 25 years, so close to the spring of the <strong>Donau</strong>, is more<br />
than just a formal dog show.<br />
Precisely it is much more and much better and justly the people<br />
in power call it Sighthound Festival instead. That exactly<br />
hits the face of affairs. Our fosterlings are judged and ranked<br />
on reams of shows. The Breed Standard counts in <strong>Donau</strong>eschingen<br />
maybe even more than elsewhere and the whole<br />
frame is in line with showing the high grade of grace and<br />
elegance that fascinates us so much in our Sighthounds and<br />
Mediterranean Breeds. Sighthounds are a little bit solemnized<br />
in <strong>Donau</strong>eschingen. And that lets the fans stick together and<br />
attracts new interested people. Since many years the Sighthound<br />
Festival in <strong>Donau</strong>eschingen is an international highlight<br />
and a crowd puller. My gratitude and congratulations to<br />
everyone who has participated on the success story of this<br />
Event up to now and in the future.<br />
I wish you a smooth run and development not only for this<br />
Anniversary Event but also for the further editions.<br />
Dear exhibitors and visitors, enjoy the plurality of the admirable<br />
sighthounds and their esthetic and fitness along with the<br />
