través de sus hijos Arnold y Klaus, quien<strong>es</strong> siguen “creando<br />
gafas únicas para rostros únicos” y transmitiendo<br />

amor por la calidad y orgullo de fabricación austriaca,<br />

Silhouette has come out with a new strategic vision of its brand, “vision without<br />
boundari<strong>es</strong>” the new style of riml<strong>es</strong>s eyewear, during the event celebrated at<br />
Mido 2009. To the ceremony, that included an innovated and classy show,<br />
clients and distributors join from all over the world, as well as the staff director<br />
of the company headed by their Managing Director Arnold Schmied.<br />

2009 is a year of renovations and strong emotions for Silhouette and<br />
his partners, distributors and clients that enjoy daily the qualiti<strong>es</strong> of its<br />
riml<strong>es</strong>s eyewear and sunglass<strong>es</strong>, an icon on this society. To remind its<br />
advantag<strong>es</strong> and announce the company’s new strategy and its new polici<strong>es</strong><br />
of distribution, Silhouette organized an original event in the last edition<br />
of Mido. During this event, directors and distributors from all over<br />
the world were joined by the b<strong>es</strong>t optometrists and media, with a special<br />
repr<strong>es</strong>entation from Spain.<br />
Silhouette event at Mido, emotive and brilliant, was entertained by a<br />
classy show of dance, music and violin. After the welcoming words of<br />
Franc<strong>es</strong>co Carrara, r<strong>es</strong>ponsible of the distribution in Italy, Arnold Schmied<br />
sp<strong>ok</strong>e of the 45 years of Silohuette succ<strong>es</strong>s on the making of the b<strong>es</strong>t<br />
eyewear, styl<strong>es</strong> that are a revolution and had become the icon of the<br />
entire world, with more than eight millions of units sold.“When my<br />
parents started this adventure -he said- nobody could expect the succ<strong>es</strong>s<br />
that we got, even today we can keep sharing it and in the future<br />
we will keep dominating the market of riml<strong>es</strong>s eyeglass<strong>es</strong>, and transmitting<br />
key valu<strong>es</strong> to the optometrist and users such as trust, continuity,<br />
satisfaction to the clients thought a unique fram<strong>es</strong>, without hing<strong>es</strong> and<br />
screws that allows a vision without obstructions, enhancing the users<br />
facial featur<strong>es</strong>. Before thanking the prof<strong>es</strong>sional’s optometrist of the<br />

German paper “Der Spiegel” they asked what product you would buy<br />
again and 90% answered Silhouette fram<strong>es</strong>.<br />
