In 2017, I embarked on my journey in architecture,
and this portfolio, through five different projects,
showcases the evolution of that pursuit and my
understanding of this discipline. With a keen eye
for creativity and a passion for teamwork, I bring a
dynamic approach to every project.
I like to push the boundaries of conventional thinking,
resulting in spaces that are not only functional
but also aesthetically captivating. Embracing
challenges as opportunities for growth, I approach
each project with enthusiasm and determination.
Also, my experience in an architectural firm not only
improved my technical skills but it also gave me
the opportunity to actively contribute to a diverse
range of real projects in a collaborative team environment.

In the north of the Calderona Mountain Range, and within
the municipality of Segorbe, you can find the Laguna la
Rosa one of the 4 lagoons that are in this municipality.
The territory where this lagoon is located, is an area of
great environmental interest, where there are several
water fountains with mineral-medicinal properties, many
points of natural interest and where the cultivation of olives
predominates.
The project aims to emphasize and revalue all these characteristics
that the territory possesses, through a project
located next to an olive grove and the Laguna la Rosa,
which consists of the creation of a restaurant and spa
area, together with an accommodation program for users.
The project intends to adapt to the environment in which
they are located and where sustainability and the maintenance
of the environment will be very present.
Therefore, the intention is to create a space for wellness
and relaxation, where to disconnect in nature and, most
importantly, to enhance and maintain the natural and scenic
resources of Laguna la Rosa.

The project was commissioned to the firm I was working
at the moment, Columbus Gestión de proyectos S.L. and
I was involved from the preliminary designs to the execution
phase.
The idea of the project was to construct a semi-detached
single-family home on a plot where urban regulations stipulated
this condition, even though there was no existing
construction on the adjacent plot.
Following several meetings with the clients, a two-story
residence was established, featuring three bedrooms, two
bathrooms, and an integrated living-dining-kitchen area.
Additionally, the design incorporated spacious front and
rear terraces.

Once the preliminary project was done, we developed the
basic and execution where the construction systems, quality
standards, structure, and installations of the project
were defined.

First Place Award in the Architectural Competition:
‘upv selfie point’
collaboration with: maria albert, paula dieterlen,
briggita kòvacs, xu fang lin
This project was submitted to the contest launched by
the Polytechnic University of Valencia with the premise of
creating a proposal for an ephemeral performance as a
selfie point, in order to generate the university’s identity
and highlight everything it represents. The project won
first prize in the contest.
B
The idea of the project is inspired by children’s playgrounds,
a learning area where one can play and enjoy,
aiming to showcase that the university is a place to learn
and, more importantly, to grow.
These playgrounds are places where children discover
the world, and with this project, a comparison is made to
emphasize that the university is also a place where one
learns a multitude of things.
The project aims to engage with the user through a series
of swings shaped like buoys where students can take
photos, play with each other, and even meet new people,
because after all, playing is not just for children.

A first test of the project was conducted by installing
two buoys in a provisional location. The test attracted
a large crowd of students who tried it out and took
photos while on it.
After the succes of the test, it was decided to place
the selfie point in a different location. Therefore, the
project was readjusted to fit the new site conditions.
Currently, the project is under construction, and the
anchoring plates to hang the buoys have already
been installed.

The aim of the project is to design a multifunctional library
in the Grao, Valencia, that meets the specific needs of this
neighborhood, based on a prior analysis of its inhabitants.
The outcome of this analysis will lead to a library project
with a diverse program that challenges the preconceived
notion of what we currently consider a library to be. A library
is a space where people go to create, connect, seek
inspiration, read, and learn.
In order to carry out these activities, a user-friendly environment
is needed, one that evokes tranquility and peace.
That’s why the project’s idea is based on implementing
green and natural spaces .
The project’s form is based on transversal strips where the
green element of the project appears. These strips begin
to take shape on the ground floor, where a series of scattered
courtyards appear, following a 6 x 3m measurement
modulation. As the levels rise, more courtyards appear, joining
with the previous ones, until reaching the roof level,
where these green transversal strips are fully formed.

The world is experiencing many changes due to different
social factors such as the pandemic or the concern over
climate change, making great changes in the way that we
use the cities. This situation will generate a certain abandonment
of different places that will not be used anymore,
for example offices, parkings or clothing shops. Through
the observation of these social changes, a premise was
made, stating that the centre of Stuttgart will be abandoned
by 30% in 10 years.
Stuttgart has been suffering a housing issue during the
last years, making it almost impossible to rent an apartment
in the city as the prices are too high, especially for
young people. The idea of the project is to incorporate
in an existing building, temporary housing aimed for students
and young people that can be affordable and also
that is connected to important spots of the city like the
main station or the university campus.
This program will generate in the city a different environment
where the student life and the city centre program
are mixed.
