El Cabildo y Telefónica trabajarán juntos
para soterrar los tendidos aéreos

El Cabildo de Fuerteventura y la compañía Telefónica
trabajan en la elaboración de un convenio de colaboración
que permita poder eliminar los tendidos aéreos
que generan más impacto visual y medioambiental
en la Isla.
La consejera de Medio Ambiente del Cabildo de Fuerteventura,
Natalia Évora, se reunió recientemente con
representantes de la compañía Telefónica para estudiar
el trazado de los nuevos tendidos y su relación con las
carreteras, sobre todo en lo que afecta a intersecciones.
«A partir de ahora, todos los nuevos tendidos que
se hagan tendrán que ser soterrados para reducir su
impacto. Pero no nos contentamos con eso. Planteamos
que de forma progresiva se vaya actuando sobre
los tendidos actualmente existentes de manera que
se vayan soterrando los que más impacto están teniendo
sobre el entorno», explicó Natalia Évora.
La consejera de Medio Ambiente señaló que a partir
de ahora se establecerán prioridades y un plan de
trabajo que permita poder comenzar a actuar sobre
el terreno en los próximos meses, « la prioridad serán
los parques naturales de Jandía y Corralejo y en general
todos los espacios protegidos, pero esta misma
línea de trabajo la queremos extender también a los
tendido eléctricos para los que igualmente existe una
normativa que determina el soterramiento de los nuevos,
pero queremos ir más allá y actuar también en
los tendidos ya existentes desde hace décadas, comenzando
por las que tienen más impacto».

telephone cables
Fuerteventura’s Cabildo and Telefónica are working
on the creation of a collaboration agreement in order
to conceal cables that have an important visual and
environmental impact on the island.
The Environment Councillor of Fuerteventura’s Cabildo,
Natalia Évora, recently met with Telefónica
representatives in order to study the layout of new cables
and their situation regarding roads and especially
how they affect junctions.
«From now on, all new cables will be underground in
order to reduce their impact. But this is not all. We aim
to progressively modify existing cables so that we can

The Environment Councillor added that from now on
there will be priorities and a work schedule so that
work can start within the next few months, «the priority
will be the Natural Parks in Jandía and Corralejo and
in general all the protected areas, but we also want to
extend this line of work to electric cables for which
regulations are also in place to bury new cables and
we also want to act on existing cables starting with
those that have the biggest impact on the
environment».

um die Leitungen, die sich in der Luft befinden,
einzugraben
durch das ermöglicht werden soll, die sich in der Luft

Die Beauftragte für Umwelt des Fuerteventura, Natalia
Évora, traf sich kürzlich mit Vertretern des

Leitungen und deren Beziehung zu den Autostraßen
zu untersuchen, vor allem an Kreuzungen.
„Von nun an werden alle neuen Kabel eingegraben,
damit sie weniger auffallen. Wir werden uns aber nicht
darauf beschränken. Wir möchten nach und nach auch
die schon existierenden Leitungen unter die Erde
verlegen, damit diese die Umwelt weniger
beeinträchtigen», erklärte Natalia Évora.
Die Beauftragte für Umwelt sagte, dass ab jetzt
Prioritäten festgesetzt und ein Arbeitsplan erstellt werden,
wodurch es ermöglicht wird, in den nächsten Monaten
auf dem Gelände anzufangen. „Die Priorität werden die
Naturparks von Jandía und Corralejo und generell alle
Orte sein, die unter Naturschutz stehen, aber wir möchten
diese Art zu arbeiten auch für das elektrische Netz
anwenden, für das es auch eine Richtlinie gibt, die
festsetzt, dass die neuen Leitungen eingegraben werden
müssen, aber wir möchten weiter gehen und auch die
schon seit Jahrzehnten existierenden Leitungen
eingraben, wobei wir mit denjenigen anfangen werden,
die am meisten auffallen «.
