AIMMP's mission is to represent, promote and protect the interests
of Portuguese companies from the five sectorial divisions that make
up the wood and furniture sector: cutting, felling, sawing and wood
packing; panels and panelled wood, carpentry and alike; furniture
and alike; export, import and distribution of wood and derivatives.
These industries export ¤2.6 billions per year.
Inter Wood & Furniture is a structured intervention program
that supports portuguese companies interested in developing
internationalization strategies in order to expand into new growing
markets. Over the years, this program has supported more than
300 companies, through more than 140 actions in more than 20
markets with incentives up to 50%, having certainly contributed to
the growth of the sector’s exports by around 1.000 million euros in
the last 9 years.

MF TIMBER is a Portuguese company dedicated
to production of exotic species solid wood
flooring for interior and exterior (decks) usage.
We directly import the raw material from its
countries of origin and proceed to its drying and
transformation in our production unit. The entire
process is carried out on European quality rules.
We are very strict in choosing our suppliers and
selecting the raw material as well as their control
of origin and legal provenance. Our main species
are: Ipê, Jatobá, Garapa, Itaúba, Red Cumaru,
Yellow Cumaru, Massaranduba, Afzélia Doussie,
Padouk, Iroko and Teka Plantation. At the moment
we have the industrial technical capacity to
give the oil finish in line. This process allows the
elimination of defects arising from transport and
stock. The product is ready to be applied to work.

Constructions in Wood
