interview for AH Business magazine

Adriana. Tell us who is Alejandro

Alejandro. I am a sales general manager

in Volkswagen Cypress, 13 years of

experience in the business car and

during the past 6 years working with

Volkswagen here, in Houston; the

Company is more than 20 years, it is the

fourth store that we got in the United

States.

Adriana. what car collection do you

commercialize?

Alex, SUB, it is a family vehicle, in it can fit

roughly 7 to 8 passengers, the best of

Volkswagen is the new technology

which is being included inside these

cars, by the way, the people has not

realized that Volkswagen owns Audi

which is a luxury line, cost a bundle, but

without paying the Audi cost, besides it

is a computerized vehicle, in a few words

a sports car, so the clients would be

paying for a Volkswagen car with Audi

car technology.

Adris, It is already 20 years that this team

manages the Company in the United States,

There are stores in Utah, Kansas city where I

come from, we already have doubled our

sales in less than 2 years, planning to open

up another one bigger within 2 years.

You had told me that pandemic had not

affected you a lot

Alex . with me, we are 60 staff, we make a

good advertisement on the radio, on

television, and in the business magazine

along with good sales as a result giving my

sellers benefits, and all of the staff of

Company, in relation to the situation of the

pandemic; we had to change a lot of things

as for our way of sales, we drive sold cars to

our Clients carrying biosafety regulations

out.

very big and important dealer in the

automotive industry, of the most

important european brand in the world,

and it is important to know in more

detail everything related to volkswagen.

Alexander, tell us what kind of financing

do you handle, what can you offer to your

customers?

Rta, we have different options since we

are talking about volkswagen cars with

audi technology, we have 0% interest on

new cars with no payments for 3 or 4

months, to help many people.

If the customer has a car, we take that as

a form of payment to help as much as we

can, because it is important to give

people security, good service and

warranty.

Adris, that's a very good strategy, i think

it's excellent.

You are a very talented young man,

because not everyone in the same age as

you has such a great position in this

important company in the automotive

industry.

How can you inspire other young

entrepreneurs to get ahead?

Alex, being Hispanic and having an

opportunity like this I take it very

seriously, for Volkswagen and for most of

my salesmen, they are 25 years old, and

they have never lived these experiences,

for them I am their mentor, and I like to

help these guys to grow and progress

with their families.

My morning routine is very important, we

don't talk about depression or anything

negative, we talk about many words of

improvement and I motivate them to be

better.

JARAMILLO'S LATIN DANCE

I am in dance academy Jaramillo’s Latin

Dance , owner and and enterprising , for

me,it is a pleasure interview him.

Adriana. Tell us where were you born and

where did the love for dancing arise?

Cesar, hello Adriana, thank you for the

invitation, I am from Medellin Colombia,

I am 46 years old and my dance art

started when I was 12 years old in the

San Jose de Envigado neighborhood,

where I used to live with a group of

Friends, creating choreographies and

dances on Saturdays in the afternoon, we

began to spread through a performance

before the mayor’s candidates; they liked

it then they supported us by a dance

tutor girl in order to instruct us in a

professional way, I started to dance with

her, I knew that she had appeared on a

video dancing “que te pasa lupita” song

alongside Fruko y sus tesos. I won a grant

for the culture house of Envigado, where

I learned several fields of art, dance,

music, culinary, modeling but I chose the

dance in order to improve my skills up to

I had the opportunity of coming to the

United States.

Adriana. How long do you have of being

in the United States Cesar.

Cesar . I came to Greenville SC when I was

23 years old here, where a cousin of mine

had a dance group , they did not swag but

they did feel like dancing, For this reason I

stayed , I did not know anybody ;in the

course of time ,I was meeting managers

then I started to work as dance tutor

;reason which gives cause for we were

invited to 96’s Olympic games in atlanta

and Jacksonville and all Greenville SC

festivals.

The group was disbanded by university

reasons and I went on performing

choreographies in an individual way by

means of acquaintances used to hire me on

15’s parties o beauty contest.

Adriana. What is your academy like . Cesar?

Cesar. In Greenville Sc is the only academy

started training Bachata , Salsa,merengue

, tango Hip hop , The academy used to have

two dance tutors during the pandemic one

of them stayed and we trained as dancer

and choreographer now she is a trainer and

my daughter.Casandra who leads kids are

begining the dance art,also she does

contemporary jazz and hip hop I lead the

social part , dancers’ choreographies that

are performed in festivals.

Cesar. It affected us 30 % as for training , we

already had 90 apprentices ,a lot of

commitments to the local universities and

festivals of Colombia which could not turno

out right .Actually we are offering private

clases to people who do not to be close to

others and some people comes to academy

carrying biosafety regulations out.

Adriana Congratulations ,it is terrific what

you make for this Project.

THE MIDDLE EAST ASIAN COUNTRY

Doha capital has a population of about

vision.

Adriana. Who is Juan Josè, how do you

define yourself and what is the most

beautiful of music, where are you from?

Juan. Adriana thank you so much for this

opportunity. For me is a pleasure, I am

Venezuelan, I define myself as a

musician, it is my essence during a lot of

years ago, I performed in this profession,

now I am a music tutor and I have stood

out as a therapist musician in the last

season instructing about the usage of

music for healthy purposes, giving

welfare with a healing sense.

Adriana. That is terrific, tell us your

musical trajectory and your passion for

the music.

Juan. when I was 13 years old my parents

gave me my first guitar,since then it

started all my interest in sounds, the

music,bird’s warble that I used to hear in

my parents and Grandmother’s home.

The sound of sea waves, all of this I used to

fascinate and I have them in my memory

and my heart; I prepared as a professional

musician from my 16 years old and from 17

years old I have not stopped working on

music, I am going to turn 60 years old for

which as a producer of televisión, theatre,

radio, and artistic producer on recording

and singers’ driving. all this experience I

took it to the therapeutic field which is used

to help the human being when he is in

problems and the music is his relief.

Adriana, Terrific, I think it is a great blessing

for people who know something about you

and your musical life, in your country and

What changes have you decided on doing in order to get greatoutcomes in

your life and your business?

IN BUSINESS YOU CAN GROW SLOW OR FAST, BUT YOU

CAN NEVER STOP GROWING

Focus allows us to elaborate good

strategies and therefore good action

plans, as it makes us work towards a clear

objective, towards the goals and results

we want to have, but we have to work

hard, even knowing that evaluating

ourselves as entrepreneurs allows us to

discover the root of the ups and downs

and the respective changes we must

make to be productive enough for this

2022.

Why do entrepreneurs lose focus of their

business and their lives?

Because there is no balance between

business and personal life, because they

only focus on building businesses and

leave everything else behind, the family is

put on the back burner and is nowhere in

order of priority for them, and that is very

dangerous.

Our first focus has to be on the things of

God so that everything turns out

spectacular for us, so that God helps us to

stabilize our life and therefore we can

enjoy everything that He gives us in our

hands.

We have to learn to value our work and

that of other people, valuing what God

gives us generates a sense of

commitment to ourselves and to what we

are developing, if we do not learn to value,

what we do would be meaningless.

Just as we invest good time in being the

best entrepreneurs, we also have to invest

good time in improving as human beings,

since we cannot separate the human part

from the professional part, it is important

to improve our human relations with other

people; this has to do with other

professionals in the business world, with

our families. It is important to establish a

good bond with our employees, suppliers,

employers.

A thought, a word, determination, a focus

and a big vision motivates and empowers

us to move forward and not to give up our

dreams, which are still dormant in our

hearts and souls.

Evaluation is important as a leader, as an

entrepreneur, as a worker. It allows us to

grow much more to be better, it allows us

to detect the areas in which a person is

weak and how to work on those areas to

improve in all aspects of your life.

That is why evaluations should be done

twice a week, that way i correct and

improve and therefore the level of

productivity is higher.

Jesus. Hello Adriana, I am Venezuelan I

am a graduate in management and

accountancy, I have a postgraduate

course in tax and finances in Venezuela in

there I was in several executive charges in

finance chairman by the reason that we

all know the situation in Venezuela.

Emigrate to The United States, I felt the

egocentric people and I made tasks in

which I was not ready, then I thought my

degree would give me an advantage, I

had to slog away at different situations, I

sold newspapers, I Parked vehicles in

order to recover my spends, there was

once a day that someone invited me to

sell insurances, ultimately it was

protection plans and I went to see what

was the deal; from that moment, 3 years

and a half went by about insurance

Company now I give lectures in order that

people obtain their insurance licenses,

giving a lot of people opportunities and

join in this organization.

I have 2 years and I manage the Houston

city firm, Austin Cypres, woodlandsy and

up next to New York city.

We are planning to open 4 branches up

more in Texas state.

Adriana AH, Why did you make the decision

to have a cake business.

Adriana Aguirre. First of all thank you Adri for

being here. I am so happy and it is very

exciting.

I made the decision at a very young age, I did

it with my children when they were young,

with the responsibility of raising them. As a

single mother. Between those I wanted to

prepare myself. Finding myself in need when

I was alone in 1998, I started again; I had the

opportunity to work in a bakery, I learned the

detailed decoration of cakes, and I discovered

the ability to develop what I wanted.

When the pandemic arrived, I had to stay at

home producing few cakes, because I turned

to my friends, which I have many, and there

was the opportunity to offer them the new

line, instead of the cakes loaded with sugar

for a sugar free and gluten free line, plus the

third line of cakes for dogs and cats. That has

made production go up.

Adris: That sounds excellent. I congratulate

you.

Leonel: I have been in the middle of the

business and the company for many years. I

saw in her the talent and ability to make

cakes, desserts and culinary products,

including gourmet meals; already known in

the field, she takes advantage to supply

parties and ceremonies, therefore, her

business has gone ahead successfully, from

here comes my support to maintain her

leadership, and my wife is an example for

other women.

Adris: Adriana, you must feel very blessed to

have a husband who supports you and loves

you so much.

How you inspire other women.

will continue to move forward.

Adriana. You say that you are born to

succeed, and you want to go far with all the

professionalism you have and the desire to

work. Keep humility, and do not let your

employees stay without work, that is why

Hello at this time I am about to conduct

an interview of a great church is called on

the rock of Katy Texas, I am very pleased,

because for me it is a privilege to

interview a pastor for the first time for the

magazine Ah business magazine with

vision. He is Colombian, with a lot of

charisma and a lot of anointing, we have a

is an honour for me.

1. When and at what moment did you feel

the call to be a pastor?

AWS/a, that conviction to serve God came

at a very early age in my life and I didn't

know how God used my whole career to

answer that call.

I was a corporate manager, I was a banker

for 10 years and then with a passionate

desire to serve my community and then a

teacher for 10 years, and very special to

work with children from other nations

with the English language and there

came a time when I was in a dilemma, I

have worked with children, but I wanted

to do it with the whole family and with the

time I received God I stopped being a

teacher and made the decision to serve

God full time as a pastor, it was not easy,

my wife had a time to meditate on that,

obviously because our lifestyle was always

very good.

God never lowered our standard of living,

on the contrary he always raised it and I am

very grateful to God. I took the step to be a

pastor, something I didn't want, but there

came a time when I couldn't resist it any

longer but to accept it and love it and here

we are 30 years after that and here we see

the result of my life with my family, my wife

and children, and in a special way His grace

and obedience to respond to Him.

Adris, excellent, congratulations.

2. Tell us about your testimony and how you

have been able to impact people?

Ans/a, according to my point of view, with

the love of God I was leading a good life, but

I felt an emptiness that was not filled, and I

was very religious in many aspects, but I

had a lot of worldly pleasure, then God had

to work in my life and he came into my life.

R/ta, it's an extraordinary question that we all

have to pause to that question and find out.

The person who seeks their own purpose is

going to be full of emptiness and unfulfilled

lives.

But the person who seeks God's purpose is

going to have a bonanza of blessing in terms

of their life and what they do.

As far as his life and what he does, being an

instrument of God for the glory of God, then he

will be a very fruitful person in all that he does.

And I have been very blessed by God and in all

that I have undertaken, we have had moments

of adversity, there are tears, fasting,

sleeplessness and there you realise the fruit of

growth, to see families strengthened and

changed by the power of GOD, couples who

were about to divorce were reconciled.

Dealing with people with bad habits and that

the only solution is God is priceless.

In life in all that it is, serving the Lord brings

much fruit.

It is important to be passionate for the Lord

and even in times of discouragement that is

what perseverance does and before you can

do you must be and to become you must be

great individuals and be in God and I can do all

things through Christ who strengthens me.

you know that we are in a world with a very

carnal nature and the reality is that many

people do not want to seek GOD and

recognize what he did on the cross of Calvary

for each one of us, even knowing that people

have received Christ and still have not been

able to understand the true purpose of why

they are here on this earth.

What would you say to them, so that they can

understand God's purpose in their lives?

R/ta, there is a duality at play with the believer,

in that we have to be careful and careful, we all

have to have the focus, we all have to set our

leave so much entertainment, we will discover

the love and grace of GOD.

are from and where the idea of setting up

this business came from.

Paola: Adriana, it's a pleasure to have you

here in my workshop. We are immigrants,

I am Venezuelan, I have been here for 1

year and 8 months; I arrived here

pregnant and with a 3 year old girl at my

parents' house.

For many years we have had a goldsmith

workshop in Venezuela where we design

all kinds of charms as a hobby. When we

arrived in the United States we decided to

take it seriously and turn it into a

create Venezuelan accessories with the

It is customary to have a beautiful Advent

wreath in the house, consisting of four

I'm on the premises of the Mexican Grill

Restaurant, located in Greenville SC, owned by the

very talented Marcos Núñez, and you've given us

an interview for AH magazine, business magazine

with visionAdriana. How has your performance

been and what types of food is your forte.

Marcos. The food is different from Mexican

restaurants, different in the way of service and,

with Mexican type food, but in American style,

Texan, Californian, like roasts with grilled food with

Mesquite firewood, and also with margarita

drinks, made with fresh lime juice and others

handmade. We try to make the food more upscale,

at a reasonable price for the people who visit us.

They have a specific dish that identifies the

Adriana. What part of Mexico are you from?

Marcos. I'm not Mexican, I was born in Oakland

California about an hour from Los Angeles. My

parents arrived here at the time of the

Vietnam war, they cooked and chopped fruit

for the Mexican and Japanese camps, then I

studied English, and we came to Greenville Sc.

We opened a second restaurant and it didn't

do well, and we had to close it, economically it

wasn't enough, so we stayed with the first one

and we have been growing slowly for 30 years.

Adriana. What kind of markets are you

targeting and what kind of clientele come

here?

Marcos. We only close on Sundays to play

sports and go to church. We've been doing

that for 18 years and it's been a motivation for

the employees and that's why we're here and

that's why we're here.

When it comes to fighting viruses, it's all about

washing your hands, and avoiding getting

close to those who are contagious.

1- STAY ACTIVE.

Exercising is a powerful way to boost the

immune system.

Exercise makes the body's antibodies and

white blood cells circulate faster, which means

they can detect and target viruses more

quickly.

So staying active also lowers stress hormones

which reduces the chances of getting sick. Of

course moderate exercise, because doing too

much weakens the immune system. We

recommend 30 to 60 minutes of exercise.

2- WATCH YOUR DIET.

80% of the immune system is in the gut, so

when it is healthy it is easier to fight.

What this means is a diet rich in fruit,

vegetables, whole grains and healthy fats in

foods such as oily fish, nuts and olive oil, which

is high in vitamin C, zinc and other

antioxidants that help reduce inflammation

and fight infection. It is good to limit meat,

especially processed and fried foods that

contribute most to inflammation. Whether it

would be better to eat a diet of whole or

fermented foods in a daily diet such as

yoghurt, sauerkraut which is a fermentation of

finely chopped cabbage leaves in strands

macerated in milk. Kefir, also called Bulgarian

yoghurt, is a fermented milk rich in pro-biotic

bacteria and yeasts that improve intestinal

flora and improve intestinal transit.
