Abstract
This presentation contains the progress of the thesis to obtain the degree of the Normalist student
Lucía Hernández, which will be affected during the 2017-2018 school year; this makes reference
about the professional identity of the teacher, it relevance and the way in which the society, the
media and the educational authorities are impacting on the identity of the teachers by demeriting
their work. It seeks to know the subjectivity of the trainers on their own work, how they perceive
themselves and how they feel about what happens around the profession. It is consider that this educational
and social problematic have a great importance for the teachers and the school community,
because many studies on education are made, but a very few times it is analyzed what the professor
feels and lives, to undertake improvement actions to contemplate a professor as an integral subject
and not only as an employee of a secretary, that is why it’s important to study the teacher’s feelings.
