Abstract
The following presentation shows partial results from the investigation called: “The Development
and Assessment of Generic and Professional Competence in the Teachers Training”, it’s presented in
a collective by teachers from Benemérita y Centenaria Escuela Normal Urbana Federal de Morelia
“Profr. J. Jesús Romero Flores”, whom are in the search of identifying de competence levels achieved
by their students. In order to create an action plan to strength the developing process and applying
it every new scholar term. The main investigation topic of this part are: which is the competence
developing level achieved by the professional students cursing the third year of the degree? And how
can we strength the developing competences of the third year students in this degree? Becoming an
investigation that takes action to integrate the student body with and active and reflexive role, involving
a follow up to engage the students. That way they can realice their process and allows them to
work on their own competences.
