The loading and unloading of extremely long and deep loads in<br />

the warehouse requires precision and the driver’s careful attention.<br />

A fork-mounted camera makes it possible to monitor both<br />

forks.<br />

The fork camera on the reach truck allows the view<br />

onto both forks.<br />

In order to avoid the installation of cables inside the mast, a wireless<br />

system can be installed. Digital signals provide the image<br />

transmission from camera to monitor across short or long distances.<br />

Several unit pairs operated in parallel allow high flexibility<br />

for the adaptation to a variety of forklift and visualisation<br />

Compared to the add-on fork-mounted camera, the rugged and<br />

compact MC9150 is mounted to the back of the fork. This provides<br />

the best protection for the camera against shocks and impacts.<br />

The 3 mm pinhole lens is also protected to prevent damages<br />

caused by pallet cages or pallets due to a pinhole opening.<br />

The 50° angle of view provides an unobstructed view onto both<br />

Rear view monitoring<br />

High rack stackers use a camera that is attached to the rear mast.<br />

The camera is activated automatically as soon as the driver engages<br />

the reverse gear. This way, people and objects behind<br />

the forklift truck are detected in time and accidents are avoided.<br />

This makes it also easier to judge distances to stored goods and<br />

racking so that material damage is less frequent.<br />

Carriage mounted camera<br />

The fork carrier camera provides the operator with an optimal<br />

view onto the forks and the area in front/underneath his vehicle.<br />

This allows a safe access into a variety of load carriers. In addition,<br />

the camera provides an indirect view of the area in front of<br />

the truck.<br />

A carriage mounted camera is lifted simultaneously with the load.<br />

The system can be extended by a camera that is automatically<br />

activated when reversing the vehicle.<br />

Large volume loads, e.g. in the beverage industry, block the driver's<br />

view to the front of the vehicle. A camera on the mast allows<br />

the operator to look ahead of the forklift truck into the storage<br />

aisle. This way, the driver can observe people in the lift truck’s<br />

path and can detect objects and obstacles in front of his vehicle<br />

Radar monitoring<br />

Driver assistance systems for industrial trucks<br />

In order to monitor the entire rear area of a machine, an increasing<br />

amount of sensors, such as radar, are used in addition to imaging<br />

systems. Radar sensors increase collision protection under<br />

poor visibility conditions and can withstand various weather<br />

conditions due to their rugged construction.<br />

Cameras and radar sensors compliment each other<br />

and guarantee increased safety.<br />

The detection range of the Motec radar sensor covers a distance<br />

of up to 50 meters and a horizontal detection angle of 150°.<br />

The visual distance display can be adjusted individually – traffic<br />

lights, direction signs, distance values or warning symbols can<br />

Log stackers are used for mobile wood handling. When loading<br />

logs, a camera mounted above the conveyor belt transmits the<br />

The MC3000B reliably deals with visibility<br />

issues during rugged heavy-duty<br />

operation. Thanks to its anodised and<br />

varnished aluminium housing, it withstands<br />

even extreme weather and environmental<br />

conditions. The numerous<br />

available angles of view and plug-in<br />

connections offer a wide range of applications<br />

for utility vehicles and mobile<br />

machinery. The MC3000B is also available<br />

as EX 2 and stainless steel design.<br />

Due to the mini module design, the<br />

MC7000P-4-E is suitable for the installation<br />

in mobile machines with<br />

limited space available. The rugged<br />

and weather-proof housing made of<br />

stainless steel allows the camera’s<br />

use under extremely severe conditions.<br />

The individually adjustable<br />

lens makes it possible to install the<br />

camera vertically, horizontally, at an<br />

angle, or overhead.<br />

The MCDE3000 is a mobile<br />

heavy-duty Ethernet camera and<br />

can be used in networks compliant<br />

with IEEE 802.3 (LAN). Fitted with<br />

intelligent image processing and<br />

dynamic overlays, the camera functions<br />

as a smart sensor in a variety<br />

of applications, e.g., integration into<br />

Reversing front-end loaders is dangerous due to the size of the<br />

vehicle and the very limited visual range of rear mirrors. Mirrors<br />

vibrate during movement, become dirty in poor weather and distort<br />

the real picture. Hence, the risk of "driving blind". Camera<br />

monitoring systems assist the driver by displaying crystal clear<br />

images of the blind areas on the monitor and enabling him to survey<br />

the entire working area at one glance.<br />

Efficiency is the keyword for complex crusher systems. Overload<br />

due to material build-up interrupt the crushing operation and<br />

cause delays and, ultimately, higher costs. Camera monitoring<br />

systems combined with digital radio prevent an overload of the<br />

machines.<br />

Timely intervention before material buildups<br />

Up to 10 parallel-running systems allow high flexibility, in particular<br />

MVS 270° Visibility and load monitoring<br />

Knocked-down markings, material damage and injuries are regrettably<br />

very common at construction sites due to the limited<br />

visibility in digger cabins. The MVS 270° system provides the operator<br />

with unrestricted view of the sides and the space behind<br />

his machine. A further camera at the excavator arm monitors the<br />

equipment and the collected load.<br />

Pressure lock and material transport in sight<br />

Camera and monitor systems are particularly suitable to survey<br />

blind and dangerous areas and instruments. Cameras are used<br />

at many locations in large drilling machines, for example, at pressure<br />

locks, milling and drilling tools or when removing material.<br />

Thanks to a video signal amplifier, crystal clear images are transmitted<br />

Camera and monitor systems at horizontal boring machines are<br />

specifically used in areas with poor visibility or none at all as the<br />

bores may be several hundreds of metres long with the receiving<br />

pit being quite distant.<br />

By using camera and monitor systems, the operators of horizontal<br />

boring machines can remotely observe the boring tools and<br />

the receiving pit. Any disturbances of the work sequence and in<br />

the boring process itself are noted in good time.<br />

transmission to the bit, while the hydraulic system senses the rock hardness and automatically<br />

As a consequence, the high Rate of Penetration and low energy consumption contribute to<br />

Roxar rock-drills are equiped with powerful, stepless variable and reversible rotation<br />

motors which provide high torque for efficient drilling.<br />

Inexpensive and easy to maintain: With a simple modular design, all service operations are<br />
