The loading and unloading of extremely long and deep loads in 

the warehouse requires precision and the driver’s careful attention. 

A fork-mounted camera makes it possible to monitor both 

forks. 

The fork camera on the reach truck allows the view 

onto both forks. 

In order to avoid the installation of cables inside the mast, a wireless 

system can be installed. Digital signals provide the image 

transmission from camera to monitor across short or long distances. 

Several unit pairs operated in parallel allow high flexibility 

for the adaptation to a variety of forklift and visualisation 

problems.

Compared to the add-on fork-mounted camera, the rugged and 

compact MC9150 is mounted to the back of the fork. This provides 

the best protection for the camera against shocks and impacts. 

The 3 mm pinhole lens is also protected to prevent damages 

caused by pallet cages or pallets due to a pinhole opening. 

The 50° angle of view provides an unobstructed view onto both 

forks facilitating the loading and unloading of goods.

High rack stackers 


High rack stackers use a camera that is attached to the rear mast. 

The camera is activated automatically as soon as the driver engages 

the reverse gear. This way, people and objects behind 

the forklift truck are detected in time and accidents are avoided. 

This makes it also easier to judge distances to stored goods and 

racking so that material damage is less frequent.

Carriage mounted camera 

The fork carrier camera provides the operator with an optimal 

view onto the forks and the area in front/underneath his vehicle. 

This allows a safe access into a variety of load carriers. In addition, 

the camera provides an indirect view of the area in front of 

the truck.

Large volume loads, e.g. in the beverage industry, block the driver's 

view to the front of the vehicle. A camera on the mast allows 

the operator to look ahead of the forklift truck into the storage 

aisle. This way, the driver can observe people in the lift truck’s

A camera mounted on the mast allows you to look underneath 

the lift truck forks, directly onto the load or loading edge. 

Camera-assisted truck loading. 

In addition, a WLAN-capable digital recorder with a recording capacity

Visual aids for rotators, paper roll clamps and multi-contact clamps 

Bulky loads, e.g. rolls used in the paper industry or rotators in, 

obscure the view forward. Special system solutions effectively 

support the driver when manoeuvring load in the storage aisle

Driver assistance systems for industrial trucks 

In order to monitor the entire rear area of a machine, an increasing 

amount of sensors, such as radar, are used in addition to imaging 

systems. Radar sensors increase collision protection under 

poor visibility conditions and can withstand various weather 

conditions due to their rugged construction. 

Cameras and radar sensors compliment each other 

and guarantee increased safety. 

The detection range of the Motec radar sensor covers a distance 

of up to 50 meters and a horizontal detection angle of 150°. 

The visual distance display can be adjusted individually – traffic 

lights, direction signs, distance values or warning symbols can 

be integrated.

Log stackers are used for mobile wood handling. When loading 

logs, a camera mounted above the conveyor belt transmits the 

images via radio to the monitor of the log stacker.

Assistance during manoeuvring, twistlock and rear view monitoring 

during container handling 

The cameras are mounted in such a way as to provide 

an optimum view onto the twistlocks. 

The mobility of reach stackers is limited without camera technology. 

Motec cameras help the driver to see the rear area as well 

as the path ahead of him. The cameras help to assess distances 

and recognise persons or obstacles in the danger area well in 

time.

Rear view monitoring and safe and fast handling of containers 

At a height of up to 15 meters, the drivers have the best view forward 

and into the loading zone. However, the rear view is difficult 

and the mast cannot be positioned precisely from that height. 

Lateral monitoring from great heights with Motec camera 

monitor systems. 

Motec cameras help the driver to see the rear and lateral area. 

The cameras help to assess distances and recognise persons or 

obstacles in the danger area well in time. 2 additional cameras 

provide an optimal view of the twistlocks. 

The images are transferred to 2 monitors so that the driver can 

position the containers in a millimetre-accurate manner and can

Container handling 

Due to the design, the driver has only limited visibility to the rear 

and front of the vehicle. The risk of a collision with people, trucks 

or other obstacles is very high. An intelligent camera monitor system 

surveys the travel path in all directions and simultaneously 

displays up to 4 camera images on a single monitor. The image 

is transmitted via digital radio signals.

The MC9050 is mounted to the 

inside of the lift truck fork. This 

places the camera at the eye level 

of the pallet. Due to the pinhole size 

opening in the housing, the lens is

The MC9150P camera is mounted 

on the back of the fork. The 

50° viewing angle makes it possible

Reversing front-end loaders is dangerous due to the size of the 

vehicle and the very limited visual range of rear mirrors. Mirrors 

vibrate during movement, become dirty in poor weather and distort 

the real picture. Hence, the risk of "driving blind". Camera

Controlling the filling level and avoiding material build-ups 

Efficiency is the keyword for complex crusher systems. Overload 

due to material build-up interrupt the crushing operation and 

cause delays and, ultimately, higher costs. Camera monitoring 

systems combined with digital radio prevent an overload of the 

machines. 

Timely intervention before material buildups 

ensures smooth operation. 

Up to 10 parallel-running systems allow high flexibility, in particular 

in the adaptation of crusher systems switched in sequence.

Knocked-down markings, material damage and injuries are regrettably

specifically used in areas with poor visibility or none at all as the 

bores may be several hundreds of metres long with the receiving 

pit being quite distant.

Operators of slewing tower cranes frequently work at extreme 

heights and depend on radio or special signals to safely control 

the boom.

Operators of of slewing tower cranes are far removed from the 

load they move and are dependent on signals by colleagues. 

By using a camera and monitor system and a special motor 

zoom camera, the operator can act without needing a signaller 

and, furthermore, has an unrestricted and constant view of load 

and destination.

Due to the adjustable setting angle of the jib, the crane requires

ship-to-shore handling equipment greatly raises the risk of a collision 

with people, lorries or other objects. An intelligent camera 

and monitor system with video control unit surveys the travel 

path in both directions and simultaneously displays up to 4 camera 

images on a single monitor.

for twistlock monitoring supports efficient working processes and 

secure container positioning. An additional camera in the vehicle 

rear allows for a view of the rear space. 

If required, all images are displayed on one monitor. Twistlocks,

Special solutions for offshore applications 

The demands of floating dredgers on a camera and monitor 

system are high with regard to system complexity and material 

strength. All system components are individually adapted and 

matched for the specific requirement. 

Stationary "Pirate X" cutter suction dredger 

off the coast of Lower Saxony. 

Fitted with a Motec camera and monitor system 

for monitoring cable winch winding, for example. 

Special cables are used to send the images monitoring the lifting 

unit, the spiral drill, the engine chamber and the anchoring to one

The robust MC3000B reliably deals with visibility 

issues in daily heavy-duty operation. Thanks to its 

anodised and varnished aluminium housing, it defies

The MC5200 heavy-duty motor zoom camera has 

been developed specifically for load monitoring on

The MC7000P has been developed

The innovative design provides a very high mechanical efficiency optimizing the shock-wave 

transmission to the bit, while the hydraulic system senses the rock hardness and automatically 

adjusts the energy / frequency ratio allowing to maximize the drilling productivity on 

any kind of application (from mix ground to the hardest rocks). 

As a consequence, the high Rate of Penetration and low energy consumption contribute to 

reduce the drilling cost per meter. 

Roxar rock-drills are equiped with powerful, stepless variable and reversible rotation 

motors which provide high torque for efficient drilling. 

Low Operation Cost 

Inexpensive and easy to maintain: With a simple modular design, all service operations are 

really easy to perform. Moreover, the increased service intervals and the sole use of normalized 

bearings and seals, contribute to achieve a drastic cost reduction. 

Continuous optimization of the energy & frequency combined with better shock-waves transmission 

reduce the vibrations and stress in the drill string, enabling an increase of its life span. 

Easiness to fit 

Compact dimensions and short lenght grant an easy fitting on any machine. 

The built is modular, giving the possibility to positionate on any side the rotation motor as 

well as the hoses connections. 

The low profile of Roxar drifters permits drilling close to walls with reduced lookout angle. 

Furthermore, no more need to add valves or modify the carrier settings: Thanks to its 

unique design, the rock-drill automatically adjusts itself to the carrier flow & pressure. 

Reliability 

The simple and robust build makes the Roxar drifters range outstandingly reliable and 

durable. The unique hydraulic system with its capacity to adjust the energy and frequency 

reduces the stress on the drill components increasing their life span. 

With their heavy duty front head design, Roxar rock drills are optimal for face drilling.
