de techos de paja y palmeras
provisionalmente.

es la imagen del Cristo de

Aranza que llegó a principios del
año 1500 a orillas del Lago de
Maracaibo
It is one of the oldest churches of
Maracaibo and according to manuscripts;
its was built on 1535
and rebuilt on 1.813. This national
heritage was originally a hermitage
and it was made of thatched roofs
and palm trees. The oldest relic of
the temple is the image of Cristo
de Aranza which apperead on the
shores of Maracaibo Lake. in 1.500
