Nuestro Grupo, un conjunto de jóvenes
empresas, comenzó su actividad en Canarias en
el año 1996, fruto de la asociación de un grupo
de técnicos e ingenieros con una gran experiencia
en el sector de la construcción y servicios. VVO
Construcciones es una empresa familiar que ha
pasado por diferentes etapas desde su fundación.
Las primeras, de arranque y consolidación en los
diferentes sectores donde actuamos, forman ya
parte de nuestra reciente historia.
Estamos hoy inmersos en un nuevo objetivo en el
que el entorno económico - financiero marca un importante
cambio de nuestros ritmos y de nuestras
actividades. Las fuertes alteraciones financieras,
el incremento del coste de las materias primas, así
como la globalización, nos exigen a todos un cambio
en calidad y en cantidad. Hoy debe presidir
nuestro trabajo el hacerlo más y mejor. Estamos
transmitiendo dentro de nuestras empresas, y a
nuestros colaboradores, la absoluta ta necesidad
Our group, a series of young companies, began
its activity in the Canary Islands in 1996, fruit of
the association of a group of technicians and engineers
with years of experience in the construction
and service sector. VVO Construcciones is a
family company that has passed through different
phases since its foundation. The first phases were
to get the company off the ground and to consolidate
the different sectors where we develop our
activity; they now form part of our short history.
Today we are immersed in a new objective in
which the economic - financial environment marks
an important change in our work rhythm and activities.
The strong financial changes, the increase in
the cost of raw materials, as well as globalisation,
all demand that we change in terms of quality and
quantity. These days our work needs to be “more
and better”. We are communicating within our
companies and to our collaborators, the absolute
necessity

activities within the field of construction, both in
infrastructures and in buildings, and in the service
and energy sectors.

Constituted by the Businessman Enrique Sánchez
Romero, VVO is a family company that was
founded in the Canary Islands in 1996, fruit of the

A new building of some 5000 m 2 designed in 3
modules for different sanitary uses has been built
in the old and well-remembered Children’s Hospital.

El Centro de Salud es un edificio de 3 plantas con
una supercie total construida de 2.053 m 2 . En el
semisótano se encuentran las centralizaciones de
instalaciones, aljibes y cuarto de máquinas almacenes.
En el resto de las plantas se distribuyen
servicios de urgencias y consultas ambulatorias.

The Health Centre is a three storey building and
has a total built surface area of 2,053 m 2 . The
central control area of the installations, the water
tanks, storage rooms and machinery room are all
found in the semibasement. The emergency services
and health centre consultancies are distributed
over the rest of the floors.

Clínica Hospiten – Roca
Puerto Rico. Mogán – Gran Canaria
Building for a hospital centre with a built surface
area of 5,474 m2. The project shall be developed
on a plot of 9,300 m 2 . The different areas of the
hospital are included in a continuous building that
will be developed according to the urban specications.

Edificio hospitalario de 13.540 m 2 de superficie en

externas y urgencias. Cuenta con 38 camas de

salas de consultas externas, 2 quirófanos, 2 salas
de paritorio, 6 puestos de diálisis, 7 puestos de
urgencias, laboratorios, cocina, lavandería, farmacia,
mantenimiento técnico y áreas de administración.

Hospital building of 13,540 m 2 distributed over two
doors with hospitalisation areas, external consultancy
and emergency units. The building has 38
beds for adults and 8 for paediatrics, 6 radiology
rooms, 25 external consultancy rooms, 2 operating
theatres, 2 birthing rooms, 6 dialysis units, 7
emergency units, laboratories, a kitchen, laundry,
chemist, technical maintenance and administration
areas.

Museo de la Naturaleza y el Hombre.
Santa Cruz de Tenerife - Tenerife
Rehabilitación de las tres Naves, de tres y cuatro
plantas, para ubicar las oficinas y laboratorios de
los Museos de Ciencias Naturales, Arqueológico e
Instituto Canario de Bioantropología. En sótanos,
bajo los patios se situan los almacenes Taller y
sala de exposiciones temporales con cerramientos
en hormigón visto y un falso techo de cristal
con luminarias creando un efecto de “cielo estrellado”.

Rehabilitation of three, three and four storey warehouses
to be used for offices and laboratories for
the Museum of Natural Science, Archaeology and
the Canarian Institute of Bioanthropology. In the
basements below the patios the storage areas,
workshops and temporary exhibitions rooms are
located. They are built in concrete with a glass,
false roof with lighting that recreates a starry sky
effect.

The interchange Padre Anchieta is an intermodal
station that includes the following transport systems:
buses, private vehicles, trams, taxis, future

A building in the shape of a prism with a triangular
base that houses the assembly hall in its lower
door and a multi purpose area on the upper. The
current Auditorium connects with the new prism
and its three levels via an innovative anchorage
system, isolating the exterior with the use of
opaque curtains on the façade and a glass roof.
The extension allows for access to one of the 600
seats available for the admiration of dramatic arts
and events.

Edificio en forma de prisma de base triangular que
acoge una sala de actos en su parte inferior y un
espacio libre plurifuncional en la superior. El actual
Auditorio conecta con el nuevo prisma sus tres niveles
mediante un innovador sistema de anclajes,
aislándose del exterior utilizando muros cortina
opacos en su fachada y en su parte superior con
una cubierta de vidrio. La ampliación permite acceder
a una de las 600 butacas disponibles para
admirar artes escénicas y eventos.

Se ubica en una parcela deportiva de 300.000 m 2 ,
ocupando el estadio una superficie de 65.000 m 2
con un aforo de 31.000 espectadores. Está dotado
de infraestructuras olímpicas. Se emplearon
96.000 m3 de hormigón y más de 8.000.000 Kg.
de acero, con un volumen de tierras de 1.500.000
m3.

65,000 m 2 and has a capacity for 31,000
spectators. The stadium is equipped with olympic

1,500,000 m3 soil were used.

Reordenación completa de la avenida, con una
superficie de 47.300 m 2 y 2 kilómetros de longitud,
comprendidos entre la Playa de Las Américas
y Costa Adeje. Se han renovado tanto las super
cies peatonales como los viales con nuevos materiales,
alumbrado público y obras de ajardinado.
Restructuring of the Avenida Rafael
Puig in Playa de Las Américas.

Complete restructuring of the avenue with a surface
area of 47,300 m 2 and 2 kilometres in length,
going from the Playa de Las Américas and Costa
Adeje. The project includes the rebuilding pedestrian
areas and pavements with new materials,
street lighting and gardening work.

Purified Water Reuse.
Arona - Tenerife
Conduction for the reuse of treated water, and cleaning
collectors with an extension of 7,000 metres,
with ductile pipes of 600 mm in diameter. The building
of an aqueduct of 160 metres in length and 40
metres high should be highlighted.

Arona - Tenerife
Conducción para la reutilización de aguas depuradas,
y colectores de saneamiento, de una
longitud 7.000 metros, con tubería de fundición
dúctil de 600 mm de diámetro. Destaca la construcción
de un acueducto de 160 metros de longitud
y 40 metros de altura.

Emplazada a 261 metros sobre el nivel del mar,
permite llegar a un importante número de zonas
de cultivo. Será cabecera de la red de riego y reguladora
de aprovisionamiento de agua del Canal
General de La Palma (Barlovento-Fuencaliente).

Situated at 261 metres above sea level, it provides
access to an important number of cultivation
areas. It is the main point for watering and regulating
the provision of water to the General Canal of
La Palma (Barlovento-Fuencaliente).

Road from Icod de los Vinos -Santiago

The project consists of the construction of a 11.8
km long road with two viaducts of 54 and 65m respectively,
1,754m of false tunnel, 5 upper passes,
three link roads and a tunnel of 1,217m. It involves
in moving some 3,500,000 m3 of earth approximately.

Icod de los Vinos - Tenerife
Se trata de la construcción de una vía rápida de
11,8 Km, con dos viaductos de 54 y 65 m., 1.754
m de falso túnel, 5 pasos superiores, tres enlaces
y un túnel de 1.217 m. Tiene un movimiento de
tierras de 3.500.000 m3 aproximadamente.

Carretera Adeje - Santiago del Teide.
Tenerife
Carretera de nuevo trazado de 27.599 metros de
longitud, de los cuales 5.805 metros corresponden
al ramal de conexión con la costa. La obra consta
de los siguientes elementos singulares: 9 enlaces,
17 viaductos con 3 tipologías diferentes, arcos de

del ámbito de la provincia de Cañete y Yauyos,
cumpliendo un conjunto de requisitos fundamentalmente
de accesibilidad, uso de su capacidad
instalada y otros, que garanticen la calidad de
atención a la población usuaria.

Ampliación de las Defensas Ribereñas
de la Ciudad de Huancabamba-Piura

Debido a la problemática que genera las crecidas
del río a su paso por la ciudad de Huancabamba,
generando inundaciones e innumerables daños
para la ciudad, se han realizado muros de tierra
mecánicamente estabilizados como defensas ribereñas.
Se levantaron distintos tipos de muros
a lo largo de 2.500 metros lineales de la ribera,
parte de esta fue resuelta con muros de gaviones,
por otro lado se utilizó el sistema Terrramesh para
tramos con mayor altura a cubrir.
