Working toolsthat are not well-maintained, or that are worn out,or that are not of the proper size result in longertime to complete a task (and a longer periodof exposure to vibration) and may result in orcontribute to higher levels of vibration exposure.► Immediately stop working if the machine suddenlystarts to vibrate strongly. Before resuming thework, find and remove the cause of the increasedvibrations.► Comply with the recommended air-pressure whenoperating the machine. Either higher or lower airpressurehas the potential of resulting in higherlevels of vibration.► Do not grab, hold or touch the inserted working toolwhen using the machine.► Participate in health surveillance or monitoring, medical exams, and training programs offered byyour employer and when required by law.See the "Noise & Vibration Declaration Statement"for the machine, found at the end of these Safety andOperating instructions.Machine modification hazardWarningAny machine modification not approved by AtlasCopco may result in serious injuries to yourself orothers.► The machine must not be modified withoutAtlas Copco's permission.► Use only original parts and accessoriesapproved by Atlas Copco.Additional safety instructions► Machines and accessories must only be used fortheir intended purpose.► Only qualified and trained persons may operate ormaintain the machine.► Learn how the machine is switched off in the eventof an emergency.► The maximum permissible air pressure for themachine must not be exceeded.► Release the start and stop device immediately inall cases of power supply interruption.► Always inspect the equipment prior to use.
