ENGLISHTriple depth adjustmentThe revolver depth stop (6) can be used to set threedifferent depths. This is particularly useful for deepcuts, performed in steps.• Place a depth template between the depth stop(3) and the revolver depth stop (6) to adjust theexact cutting depth.• If required, set all three screws.Depth adjustment with router installed in invertedposition• Set the depth of cut prior to installing the routerin inverted position. For installing the router in invertedposition, refer to the relevant instructionmanual on the stationary tool.A fine depth adjuster (EZ49103) isavailable as an accessory.Fitting the parallel fence (fig. E)• Fit the guide rods (15) to the router base (11).• Tighten the locking bolts (10).• Slide the parallel fence (16) over the rods.• Tighten the locking bolts (17) temporarily.Adjusting the parallel fence (fig. E)• Draw a cutting line on the material.• Lower the router carriage until the cutter is incontact with the workpiece.• Tighten the plunge limiter (4).• Position the router on the cutting line. The outercutting edge of the cutter must coincide with thecutting line.• Slide the parallel fence (16) against the workpieceand tighten the locking bolts (17).Fitting a guide bush (fig. F)Together with a template, guide bushes play avaluable part in cutting and shaping to a pattern.• Fit the guide bush (18) to the router base (11)using the screws (19) as shown. The screws (19) also hold the dustextraction channel. Never operate therouter without this.Connecting a dust extractor (fig. A)Connect a dust extractor hose to the dust extractionchannel (9).Instructions for use• Always observe the safety instructionsand applicable regulations.• Always move your router as indicated infig. G (outer edges/inner edges).Prior to operation:• Check that the cutter is correctly installed in thecollet.• Set the cutting depth.• Connect a dust extractor.• Always make sure the plunge limiter is lockedbefore switching ON.Switching ON and OFF (fig. A)Switch the tool ON using the ON/OFF-switch (1).• I = ON. The tool now works continuously.• O = OFF.Loosen the plunge limiter and allow therouter carriage to regain its rest positionbefore switching OFF.Using the guide bushes (fig. F)• Secure the template to the workpiece using endclamps.• Select and install an appropriate guide bush (18).• Subtract the diameter of the cutter from the outsidediameter of the guide bush and divide by 2. This willindicate how much larger the template should be inrelation to the part being recessed. If the workpiece is not thick enough, place it on a piece of waste wood.Guiding off a battenWhere an edge guide cannot be used, it is alsopossible to guide the router along a batten clampedacross the workpiece (with an overhang at bothends).18 en - 5
