Your Powerpodpowered mixer also offers a feedback killer, notdescribed in the manual. The feedback silencerwill effectively remove feedback frequenciesfrom the main stereo output.The Phonic feedback silencer found on thePowerpod FR & F offers 30 filters per channel.Each of these filters is either a “locked” or“dynamic” filter. Dynamic filters will activelyseek and destroy frequencies. A fixed filter willlock onto these frequencies. The basicdifference is that a fixed filter will lock ontofrequencies until reset, while dynamic filters willcontinuously find and remove feedbackfrequencies until each filter is used, then startall over again.Operation:1. To begin, simply push the FB button. TheLED indicator will continuously flash to indicatedynamic filter mode is activated. This willcontinuously seek and destroy feedbackwithout removing the music or vocal essences.2. Push the FB button a second time to lock thefeedback killer at the frequencies detected indynamic mode. In this mode, the LED indicatorwill light up steadily. Locked mode isparticularly useful for professional soundengineers at rehearsal sessions.3. Pushing the FB button again will bypass thefeedback killer.
