Para la representacióndel bounding box intermedio, es necesario definir los ocho vértices que lo componen. Para ello, se hade determinar los cuatro vértices de cada BB son los que definen de forma más adecuadael BB intermedio. Además, es necesario tener en cuenta que los cuatro vérties elegidos decada BB deben pertenecer a una misma cara de este.Un bounding box viene determinado por seis caras, donde una cara está definida porcuatro vértices coplanares (a modo de rectángulo). Las caras se encuentran ordenadas parafacilitar su manipulación en algoritmos y cálculo de operaciones. El orden de las caras queforman el bounding box es el siguiente:129
