CELEBRANDO A DIVERSIDADE - CELEBRATING DIVERSITY -El Festival Internacional de Cine Independente de Ourense se ha convertido en los últimos años en un referente obligado para estar al tanto de la vida del sector audiovisual gallego,que es uno de los sectores con mayor crecimiento dentro de nuestra comunidad autónoma, además de incorporar notables referencias de la producción cinematográfica nacionale internacional.La constancia en el apoyo y respaldo de esta importante iniciativa cultural desde las instituciones ourensanas se ha traducido en que este evento sea uno de los elementos másdestacados del otoño de nuestra ciudad, marcado por la calidad de los trabajos que acuden a él y por la profesionalidad de sus responsables técnicos.Este año el Festival tiene nuevos responsables que asumen la herencia de un proyecto consolidado y respetado y que tienen por delante el reto de mantener su progresivodesarrollo, incrementar su prestigio y ayudarlo a seguir creciendo.Una vez más, la Diputación se siente honrada de apoyar y participar en esta iniciativa con el deseo de que el amplio y variado programa de actividades preparado para esta ediciónsea del agrado de la inmensa mayoría de los ourensanos.J o s é L u i s B a l t a r P u m a rP R E S I D E N T E D E L A D I P U T A C I Ó N D E O U R E N S EIn the last years, the Ourense International Film Festival has become a reference event in order to be updated on the Galician audiovisual field, one of the most increasing sectorsin our region, as well as for including outstanding Spanish and international film productions into its programme.The Ourense institutions' constant support to this important cultural initiative has turned this event into one of the fall season highlights in our city, well known for the quality ofits programme and for the professionalism of its staff.This year there is a new team organizing the Festival that has assumed the legacy of a consolidated and respected event. Their challenge will be to keep its progressive developmentin the years to come and to increase its prestige and development.Once again, the County Council of Ourense is proud to provide the necessary support for this initiative.
