It has beenmanufactured following current technicalsafety regulations and in compliance with ECstandard.Please read this instructions bookletcarefully before installing or starting up theproduct. It contains important information onpersonal and user safety measures to befollowed while installing, using and carryingout maintenance work on the equipment.Once the product has been installed, pleasehand in this booklet to the end user.Check that the apparatus is in perfectcondition while unpacking. Any fault ordamage caused in origin is covered by theS&P guarantee. Please make sure that theapparatus coincides with the product youhave ordered and that the details on theinstructions plate fulfil your necessities.Transport and manipulation.- The packaging used for this apparatus hasbeen designed to support normaltransporting conditions. The apparatusmust always be transported in its originalpackaging as not doing so could deform ordamage the product.- The product should be stored in a dryplace in its original packaging, protectedfrom dust and dirt until it is installed in itsfinal location. Do not accept delivery if theapparatus is not in its original packaging orshows clear signs of having beenmanipulated in any way.- Do not place heavy weights on the packedproduct and avoid knocking or dropping it.Important information for the safety ofinstallers and users.- Installation must only be carried out byqualified persons.- Make sure that the installation complieswith each country’s current mechanical andelectrical norms.- Once ready to use, the apparatus mustfulfil the following standards:- Standard for Low Pressure Instalments2006/95/CE- Standard for ElectromagneticCompatibility 2004/108/CE.- Ventilators, or apparatus that include them,have been designed to move the air in thearea stipulated on their characteristicsplate.- This apparatus must not be used inexplosive or corrosive atmospheres.- If a ventilator is going to be installed toextract air from premises where a boiler orother combustion apparatus are installed,make sure that the building has sufficientair intakes to assure adequate combustion.- The extractor outlet must not be connectedto a duct used to exhaust smoke or fumesfrom any appliance that uses gas or anyother type of fuel.- This appliance is not intended for use byyoung children or infirm persons unlessthey have been adequately supervised bya responsible person to ensure that theycan use the appliance safely. Youngchildren should be supervised to ensurethat they do not play with the applianceSafety during installation.- Make sure there are no loose elementsnear the ventilator, as they could run therisk of being sucked up by it. If it is going tobe installed in a duct, check that it is cleanof any element that could be sucked up bythe ventilator.- When installing an apparatus, make surethat all the fittings are in place and that thestructure which supports it is resistantenough to bear its weight at full functioningpower.- Before manipulating the apparatus, makesure the mains supply is disconnected,even if the machine is switched off.- Check that the mains supply voltage andfrequency values coincide with thestipulations on the characteristics plate.- The electrical installation must include adouble pole switch with a contactclearance of at least 3 mm, correctly sizedand in accordance with the electricalstandards of the country of installation- Please follow the connections diagram forthe electrical connections.- If an earth connection is necessary, checkthat it correctly connected and that
