INFLUENCIA DE LA MICRO-TOPOGRAFÍA EN LA FLORACION Y LAFRUCTIFICACION DE LOS MANGLARES DE ZONAS ÁRIDAS EN ELPACIFICO NOROCCIDENTAL.Reymundo Domínguez-Ca<strong>de</strong>na* 1, Rafael Riosmena-Rodríguez 2, José Luís León<strong>de</strong>la Luz*redoc2009@gmail.comSe analiza la floración y fructificación <strong>de</strong> mangles en tres sitios <strong>de</strong> Bahía <strong>de</strong> LaPaz, B.C.S. (24° 09´ N 110° 20´W) en la costa surocci<strong>de</strong>ntal <strong>de</strong>l Golfo <strong>de</strong> California. Seestudiaron cuatro formas micro-topográficas: costa (CO), canal (CA), inundaciónpermanente (IP) e inundación temporal (IT). El objetivo fue evaluar la floración y el<strong>de</strong>sarrollo <strong>de</strong> frutos con respecto a las formas micro-topográficas. Los registros serealizaron cada 7 días; <strong>de</strong> 1 <strong>de</strong> Junio <strong>de</strong> 2006 a Enero 15 <strong>de</strong> 2007. L. racemosa<strong>de</strong>sarrolla flores en 91±5 días y frutos en 70±4 días. El cambio <strong>de</strong> flor a fruto es <strong>de</strong> 32%. R. mangle presenta 140±6 días <strong>de</strong> floración y 126±6 días <strong>de</strong> fructificación, con 33%<strong>de</strong> cambio <strong>de</strong> flor a fruto. A. germinans presenta 84±4 días <strong>de</strong> floración y 84±5 días <strong>de</strong>fructificación, con 11% <strong>de</strong> éxito. La prueba <strong>de</strong> Kruskall-Wallis indica que es p < 0.05en la floración y <strong>de</strong>sarrollo <strong>de</strong> frutos en las formas micro-topográficas. El rangomúltiple <strong>de</strong> Duncan (p < 0.05) muestra diferencia al menos en tres <strong>de</strong> las cuatro formasanalizadas. Las flores se <strong>de</strong>sarrollan en periodo <strong>de</strong> máxima sequía y los frutos enperiodo húmedo. Se estableció una unidad <strong>de</strong> muestreo (UM) <strong>de</strong> 1000m2,95
<strong>de</strong>ntro <strong>de</strong> ella todos los árboles >2.5cm fueron numerados y medidos. Los parámetrosmedidos fueron: diámetro a la altura <strong>de</strong>l pecho (DAP), altura total (AT), altura <strong>de</strong> fuste(AF) y cobertura arbórea (CA). Con estos datos se obtuvo el área basal (AB), el Índice<strong>de</strong> Holdridge (ICH), mortalidad natural (MN), extracción <strong>de</strong> ma<strong>de</strong>ra (E) y <strong>de</strong>nsidad <strong>de</strong>larbolado (D). Los resultados indican que el sitio estaba constituidos por un bosquemonoespecífico <strong>de</strong> L. racemosa, Rhizophora mangle y Avicennia germinans en unaproporción <strong>de</strong>: 86/12/2%, la <strong>de</strong>nsidad inicial paso <strong>de</strong> 216/31 a 86/14; el DAP <strong>de</strong> cadaespecie paso 7.5/6.1 a 14.2/10.8cm; AT: 8.7/6.8 a 11.5/9.8m; AF: 2.7/2.6 a 6.5/3.8;CA:4.5/5.6 a 5.6/8.6m2; AB:11.2/14.1m2; ICH: 21.4/19.6; MN: 56%: E: 1.1%. La<strong>de</strong>nsidad fue el parámetro que más cambió, al reducirse >50% en ambas especies alincrementarse el grosor y altura <strong>de</strong>l arbolado. Se establecieron 446 unida<strong>de</strong>s <strong>de</strong> muestreo (UM) <strong>de</strong> 300m2, enlos 12 sistemas <strong>de</strong> manglares, en cada UM, se colocaron 15 subcuadrantes <strong>de</strong> 1x1m,<strong>de</strong>ntro se contabilizó el número <strong>de</strong> plántulas por especie, altura, condición viva/muerta,clasificándolas en tres tipos: Tipo A con solo hojas (2-18 meses), Tipo B conramificación (18-30), Tipo C con raíces aéreas (>30).
