La situación actual <strong>de</strong> estos bosqueshace necesario la implementación <strong>de</strong> programas <strong>de</strong> reforestación <strong>de</strong> las zonas<strong>de</strong>gradadas, sin embargo para llevar a cabo estas activida<strong>de</strong>s se necesita conocer yubicar las áreas perturbadas y la problemática que presentan. Con la obtención einterpretación <strong>de</strong> las imágenes se <strong>de</strong>terminó la especie <strong>de</strong> mangle para reforestar cadauna <strong>de</strong> las zonas i<strong>de</strong>ntificadas, se i<strong>de</strong>ntificarón las causas <strong>de</strong> la <strong>de</strong>gradación y serealizaron propuestas <strong>de</strong> restauración. Se encontraron siete zonas para llevar a cabo larestauración, algunas zonas fueron <strong>de</strong>forestadas para la formación <strong>de</strong> canales <strong>de</strong> llamada<strong>de</strong> las granjas <strong>de</strong> camarón, factor principal <strong>de</strong> la modificación <strong>de</strong> la zona <strong>de</strong> manglar, yaque los bor<strong>de</strong>s tienen una altura que impi<strong>de</strong> el paso <strong>de</strong> agua por lo que se pier<strong>de</strong> laconectividad <strong>de</strong>l agua; unas <strong>de</strong> las propuestas es eliminar los bor<strong>de</strong>s <strong>de</strong> los canales <strong>de</strong>llamada para restablecer la conectividad, formación <strong>de</strong> un vivero, elaboración <strong>de</strong>metodologías para optimizar el crecimiento <strong>de</strong> las plántulas, reforestación <strong>de</strong> áreasperturbadas, monitorear <strong>de</strong> las poblaciones <strong>de</strong> mangle en recuperación, participacióncomunitaria, dueños <strong>de</strong> las granjas y educación ambiental.141

El objetivo <strong>de</strong> este trabajo fue <strong>de</strong>tectar la presencia<strong>de</strong> compuestos organoclorados en el sedimento <strong>de</strong>l manglar que se localiza entre losmunicipios <strong>de</strong> Boca <strong>de</strong>l Río y Me<strong>de</strong>llín, Veracruz y que en 1999 fue <strong>de</strong>cretada ÁreaNatural Protegida. Se obtuvieron muestras <strong>de</strong> suelo por medio <strong>de</strong> penetración estándarcon una posteadora manual, a uno, dos y tres metros <strong>de</strong> profundidad, en tres pozos <strong>de</strong>son<strong>de</strong>o, se realizó un análisis <strong>de</strong> parámetros geohidrológicos, se <strong>de</strong>terminó la presenciay concentración <strong>de</strong> contaminantes mediante extracción asistida por microondas y porcromatografía gas-líquido. Las características <strong>de</strong>l sedimento encontradas fueron:<strong>de</strong>nsidad promedio <strong>de</strong> 2.5 g/l, humedad <strong>de</strong>l suelo entre 37 y 100 % en peso y porosidadrelativa en el rango <strong>de</strong> 48.9 a 72.7%, se i<strong>de</strong>ntificó la presencia <strong>de</strong> hexaclorobenceno,lindano, DDT, <strong>de</strong>lta clorohexaciclohexano, endosulfán, 4-4?-DDE, dieldrín, endrín yendrín al<strong>de</strong>hído, cuya fuente <strong>de</strong> origen primario se ha <strong>de</strong>terminado que es el exbasureomunicipal.ANÁLISIS DEL CRECIMIENTO MANGLAR EN UNA ZONA DEREHABILITACIÓN HIDROLÓGICA DE ESCANRIO CARSTICO-CARBONATADO DE YUCATÁNAndueza Briceño Ma.
