For phasal nouns we proposed ‘que puede empezar, continuar o terminarde P’ (‘it can start, go on or stop/finish P-ing), being P a fulfillment verb as domainfeature. For instance, a brazalete (bracelet), ‘que puede empezar o dejar de llevarse’(ponerse / quitarse el brazalete, to put on/off a bracelet).Chapter 5 shows situations and entities nouns belong to the causative LFsdomain, which is too wide to define its domain features. We have proposed the name ofcausative noun only for those nouns belonging to the domain of CausFunc0,PermFunc 0 and LiquFunc 0 , for which we could define the following domain feature:‘existe un agente externo o interno que puede causar que eso exista’ (‘there is aninternal or external agent that can make that exist’). These are nouns that combine withverbs whose first argument is the ‘causer’ of what is designated by the noun. Thisfeature is pertinent in the typology of nouns because it lets us distinguish betweencontrolled and no controlled events. We have also defined the domain feature for nounsbelonging to the domain of Caus 2 Func 1 : ‘Y puede hacer que eso afecte a X’ (‘Y canmake this affect X’). This feature is shared by many lexical units of ‘feeling’.Chapter 6 contains some reflections about LFs. The overlapping phenomenon isdistinguished from the presence of links, something common among LFs. We have alsopostulated that CausReali, IncepReal i , CausOper i , IncepOper i , CausFact 0 andIncepFact 0 keep features of compounded LFs, while IncepFunc 0 , FinFunc 0 ,CausFunc 0 y LiquFunc 0 are proper complex LFs. We have underlined the usefulnessof LFs in the writing of traditional lexicographic entries and provided some examplesof lexicographical entries. We have also claimed the possible use of LFs in theelaboration of ontologies. The behaviour of fulfillment verbs LFs shows that theirnature is different from the one of support verb LF. It could be possible that the linkestablished between the base and the collocative does not hold in the deep syntacticlevel (as it is the case of support verbs), but in the reality, conceptual and semantic one.Finally, we have suggested that LFs could be used to explain the lexical dynamicityphenomena, since many collocations are formed with the figurative sense of436
