Los resultados muestran que el turismo enMéxico respon<strong>de</strong> inelásticamente a los cambios <strong>de</strong>l costo <strong>de</strong> vida en el país (-0.0277) y que mantieneuna relación directa con el comportamiento <strong>de</strong> la actividad económica <strong>de</strong> Estados Unidosy Canadá (0.78%) y, también con respecto al efecto <strong>de</strong> promoción que lleve a cabo el turista quevisitó México en el periodo anterior (0.24%).To <strong>de</strong>termine the factors affecting international tourism <strong>de</strong>mand in Mexico was used a log-log autoregressive mo<strong>de</strong>lwith qualitative in<strong>de</strong>pen<strong>de</strong>nt variables and annual statistical information from 1980 to 2009. The results show thatthe Mexico tourism responds inelastically to changes in the cost of living in the country (-0.0277) and that have a directrelationship with the behavior of economic activity in the United States and Canada (0.78%) and, also with respectto relationship regarding the effect of promotion take place tourists visited Mexico in the previous period (0.24%).Para <strong>de</strong>terminar os factores que afectam a procura internacional do turismo no México foi utilizado um mo<strong>de</strong>lo auto--regressivo duplo logarítmico com variáveis in<strong>de</strong>pen<strong>de</strong>ntes qualitativas e com informação estatística anual <strong>de</strong> 1980 a2009. Os resultados <strong>de</strong>monstram que o turismo no México respon<strong>de</strong> <strong>de</strong> modo inelástico às mudanças do custo <strong>de</strong> vida nopaís (-0.0277) e que mantém uma relação directa com o comportamento da activida<strong>de</strong> económica dos Estados Unidos edo Canadá (0.78%) e, também, está relacionado com o efeito <strong>de</strong> promoção que leve a cabo o turista que visitou Méxicono período anterior (0.24%).1.
