Kindergarten Registration2013-14Children who will be 5 years old on or before August 31, 2013 should be registered for kindergarten. Registeringyour child for kindergarten early helps school administrators have the necessary staff hired and classrooms readyto welcome your child to his/her first day of school.Parents may early register their child for kindergarten on the following specially scheduled registration dates:Monday, March 11 – 8 am to 6 pmTuesday, March 12 – 8 am to 4 pmWednesday, March 13 – 8 am to 4 pmParents may also go to the school offices any time from 8 am-3:30 pm during the week (before the current schoolyear ends) and during the summer (Monday–Thursday) to register their child for the 2013-14 school year.Every student should be registered in his/her home school district even if a parent/guardian wishes tomake a request for transfer/reassignment to another school or to attend Bruce Drysdale or HendersonvilleElementary Schools (on Flex Schedule calendar). Reassignment applications may be obtained at anyschool or from the Henderson County Public Schools website (www.hendersoncountypublicschoolsnc.org). Applications for reassignment should be returned to the school requested during the month ofApril.
