Wall
From 28 March to 4 April
This cycle of installations in its
year 2000 edition reflected on
the changes that have occurred
in western culture ten years after
the fall of the wall, such as, for
instance, the disappearance of
of others, with set-ups by Glexis
La Ciutat
de les Paraules
Abril 2000
La ciutat de les paraules era
un projecte que proposava la
vinculació de les arts plàstiques
i la vida urbana, i l’acostament
del fet artístic i literari a la quotidianitat,
fent-lo sortir durant
uns dies dels museus i les biblioteques.
Artistes i veïns del barri
del Raval n’eren els protagonistes
i intercanviaven actituds i
coneixements. En aquesta nova
edició, sota el lema “el camí de
la memòria”, es pretenia obrir o
recuperar els records dels ciutadans
a través de les paraules .
La Ciudad
de las Palabras
Abril 2000
Artistas y
vecinos del barrio del Raval eran los
protagonistas de dicho proyecto e
intercambiaban actitudes y conocimientos.
En esta nueva edición, bajo
el lema “el camino de la memoria”,
se pretendía abrir o recuperar los
recuerdos de los ciudadanos a través
de las palabras.
The City of Words
Abril 2000
The City of Words was a project
that proposed a link between the
plastic arts and urban life and an
approach between the artistic and
literary world and every day life,
bringing it out of the museums
and libraries for a few days.
Artists and neighbors of the Raval
district featured in this project and
exchanged their attitudes and
knowledge. In this new collection,
under the motto “the path of
memory”, the intention was to
open or recover the memories of
the citizens through words.
