HIV/AIDS prevención actividad a nivel nacional con comunidad<br />

apoyar; mejorar calidad vida todo gente vivir con HIV/AIDS<br />

por provisión mejor cuidado, tratamiento y apoyar; y<br />

consolidar operacional capacidad institución <strong>de</strong>dicado<br />

prevención y tratamiento HIV/AIDS. grupo apuntar incluir<br />

intravenoso droga usuario, homosexual hombre, transexuales,<br />

bisexuales, comercial sexo trabajador, prisión interno, niño<br />

huérfanos, todo gente vivir con HIV/AIDS y su familia,<br />

embarazado mujer, salud profesional, gente infectar con VIH y<br />

tuberculosis, y general pob<strong>la</strong>ción.<br />

Summary: The program, which targets high risk<br />

groups, will expand HIV/AIDS prevention activities<br />

nationwi<strong>de</strong> with community support; will improve the<br />

quality of life of all people living with HIV/AIDS<br />

through the provision of better care, treatment and<br />

support; and will strengthen of operational capacity of<br />

institutions <strong>de</strong>dicated to the prevention and treatment<br />

of HIV/AIDS. Groups targeted inclu<strong>de</strong> intravenous drug<br />

users, homosexual men, transsexuals, bisexuals,<br />

commercial sex workers, prison inmates, orphaned<br />

children, all people living with HIV/AIDS and their<br />

families, pregnant women, health professionals, people<br />

infected with HIV and tuberculosis, and the general<br />

popu<strong>la</strong>tion.<br />

Contexto: Actualmente, <strong>la</strong> Argentina está experimentando una<br />

crisis económica extremadamente seria y un proceso<br />

acelerado <strong>de</strong> <strong>la</strong> pobreza y <strong>de</strong>l <strong>de</strong>sempleo. Estos fenómenos<br />

afectan <strong>la</strong> salud <strong>de</strong> <strong>la</strong> pob<strong>la</strong>ción y <strong>de</strong> <strong>la</strong>s políticas sanitarias. La<br />

epi<strong>de</strong>mia <strong>de</strong> SIDA en <strong>la</strong> Argentina se concentra y con un<br />

índice actual <strong>de</strong>l predominio <strong>de</strong>l adulto <strong>de</strong> 0.7%, y afecta<br />

especialmente a los pobres, a <strong>la</strong> juventud, a <strong>la</strong>s mujeres y a <strong>la</strong><br />

otra gente social marginada.<br />

Context: Currently, Argentina is un<strong>de</strong>rgoing an extremely serious<br />

economic crisis and an accelerated process of poverty and<br />

unemployment. These phenomena affect both the health of the<br />

popu<strong>la</strong>tion and health policies. The AIDS epi<strong>de</strong>mic in Argentina is<br />

concentrated and with a current adult prevalence rate of 0.7% , and<br />

especially affects the poor, youth, women and other socially<br />

marginalized people.<br />
