El ángulo en el polo P, toma, por tanto, los siguientes valores: hL = 0º, el astro pasa por el Meridiano Superior (P = 0º) hL = 90º, el astro corta el círculo horario que pasa por el W (Pw = 90º) hL = 180º, el astro pasa por el Meridiano Inferior (P = 180º) hL = 270º, el astro corta el círculo horario que pasa por el E (Pe = 90º) hL = 360º, el astro vuelve a pasar por el Meridiano Superior
