CHARACTERISTICS<br />

<strong>Tescoma</strong> pressure cookers MAGNUM, COMFORT and PRAKTIK are made of 18/10 highgrade<br />

stainless steel to provide a perfectly hygienic environment <strong>for</strong> cooking<br />

meals.<br />

The solid grips and lid handle are made of resistant plastic that does not burn<br />

if used properly.<br />

The pressure cookers are provided with two independent valves - an operating<br />

and a safety valve - that guarantee a maximum level of safety when making meals<br />

in a pressurised environment.<br />

The solid three-layer sandwich bottom has excellent heat retaining properties<br />

<strong>for</strong> economising on energy - cooking takes place at a low output and the stove can<br />

be switched off well in advance be<strong>for</strong>e the required time of cooking elapses.<br />

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE<br />

BEFORE FIRST USE<br />

Be<strong>for</strong>e first use, wash the pressure cooker and all its parts thoroughly with warm<br />

water and some detergent and wipe dry.<br />

BEFORE EACH USE (Figure 2)<br />

INSPECT THE OPERATING AND SAFETY VALVES BEFORE EACH USE.<br />

Position the arm of the operating valve horizontally and repeatedly push<br />

downwards.<br />

The arm must spring and return freely to horizontal position.<br />

Pull the operating valve repeatedly upwards using a suitable tool such as a <strong>for</strong>k.<br />

The valve must spring and return freely to the original position.
