La Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico a traves del Institute de Qufmica,
(www.iquimica.unam.mx) abre a concurso un contrato por obra determinada para desarrollar una
lfnea de investigacion que aborde el estudio de Ia densidad electronica desde el punta de vista
experimental. Podran participar en este concurso los doctores en areas propias de Ia Qufmica con
al menos dos anos de postdoctorado, desarrollado preferentemente en el extranjero, que cuenten
con solidos conocimientos de qufmica teorica y con capacidad para disenar experimentos que
permitan el estudio de Ia densidad electronica, su gradiente y laplaciano.
El concursante debe hacer llegar al Institute de Qufmica Ia siguiente informacion que se sometera
a una primera seleccion:
• Curriculum vitae
• Una carta de dos cuartillas en las que exprese las razones que le motivan a vincularse al
Institute de Qufmica.
• Un resumen de sus logros en investigacion
• Tres proyectos relacionados con Ia obra determinada propuesta con los desarrollos que
emprenderfa en el Institute, con extension de dos cuartillas para su evaluacion. Esta
informacion sera manejada con absoluta confidencialidad.
• Tres cartas de recomendacion cerradas que deben llegar directamente del recomendante
a Ia Direccion dellnstituto de Qufmica.
Los responsables de las cinco mejores propuestas en terminos de calidad, impacto de Ia obra
producida, independencia y viabilidad, seran invitados a impartir un seminario en el Institute de
Qufmica y deberan defender sus propuestas ante un comite formado por personal academico
perteneciente al institute y los miembros de Ia comision dictaminadora.
La decision final se hara del conocimiento del ganador en caso de haberlo y se publicara en Ia

over), to develop a project related to the study of electrical density from an experimental point of
view. Applicants shall have a Ph .D. degree in Chemistry and must have held a postdoctoral
position for at least two years (ideally abroad). Candidates must show a sound knowledge of
theoretical chemistry and ability to design experiments for the study of the electronic density, its
gradient and Laplacian.

que cuenten con habilidades para el aislamiento, caracterizacion y sfntesis de compuestos
qufmicos, con experiencia en materiales de interes artfstico y en proyectos de investigacion
interdisciplinarios para el analisis del patrimonio cultural.
El concursante debe hacer llegar al lnstituto de Qufmica Ia siguiente informacion que se sometera
a una primera seleccion:
• Curriculum vitae
• Una carta de dos cuartillas en las que exprese las razones que le motivan a vincularse al
lnstituto de Qufmica.
• Un resumen de sus logros en investigacion
• Tres proyectos relacionados con Ia obra determinada propuesta con los desarrollos que
emprenderfa en el lnstituto, con extension de dos cuartillas para su evaluacion. Esta
informacion sera manejada con absoluta confidencialidad.
• Tres cartas de recomendacion cerradas que deben llegar directamente del recomendante
a Ia Direccion dellnstituto de Qufmica.
Los responsables de las cinco mejores propuestas en terminos de calidad, impacto de Ia obra
producida, independencia y viabilidad, seran invitados a impartir un seminario en el lnstituto de
Qufmica y deberan defender sus propuestas ante un comite formado por personal academico y los
miembros de Ia comision dictaminadora dellnstituto de Qufmica.
La decision final se hara del conocimiento del ganador en caso de haberlo y se publicara en Ia
pagina electronica del lnstituto de Qufmica .
La recepcion de documentos concluye el 12 de junio del afio en curso a las 14:00 horas y deben
dirigirse al Dr. Gabriel Eduardo Cuevas Gonzalez Bravo, Director dellnstituto de Qufmica.
