CARTA PERSONAL/PERSONAL LETTER
Nosotros somos responsables de hacer una mejor ciudad y creo que
tenemos todas las herramientas necesarias para lograr transformaciones
urbanas. Hablo no solo como hombre de negocios sino como
padre de familia, como vecino y como parte de esta comunidad.
We are responsible for our own city. I believe that within our community
lies all the necessary tools to transform our own urban environment.
I speak not only as a businessman but as a father, neighbor, and
community member.
Cuando empezamos la iniciativa de Distrito Valle del Campestre lo hicimos
con la convicción de que es la comunidad quien tiene el poder
de transformar su entorno. El viaje que hemos embarcado ha sido uno
de descubrimiento y aprendizaje.
Hemos encontrado no sólo el gran potencial que tiene nuestro Distrito
para convertirse en el mejor lugar para vivir, trabajar y divertirse sino
el gran valor que tiene la colaboración.
En este libro encontraras algunas ideas, principios y primeros pasos
hacia una mejor ciudad que hemos construido con la ayuda, voz y
voto de la comunidad.
Deseamos compartir nuestra experiencia por lo que los invitamos a
participar con nosotros y seguir construyendo lazos que transformen.
When we first started working with the Distrito Valle del Campestre
initiative we did it with the firm conviction that it was the community
who had the strength to create significant urban changes.
During this process we have not only discovered that our District has
great potential to transform into the best place to live, work and play
but we have also discovered the great value of collaboration.
In this book you will find ideas, principles and the first steps that we
have created to move towards a better urban environment. All of this
was possible thanks to the work, voice, and vote of our community.
We wish to share our experience and invite you to participate with us
in this wonderful journey that has enabled us to build bonds that will
transform our lives.
