5.3.3.4 Edad y género <strong>de</strong> las víctimas<br />
La edad promedio <strong>de</strong> los ciclistas que murieron fue <strong>de</strong> 42 años [DE: ± 18]. El rango <strong>de</strong> edad que<br />
presentó la mayor frecuencia se encontró entre 55 a 79 años. El 50% <strong>de</strong> las muertes <strong>de</strong> ciclistas eran<br />
personas entre los 45 años o menos.<br />
En la distribución por género, solo se registró un caso <strong>de</strong>l género femenino, situando a los hombres<br />
como las víctimas <strong>de</strong> mayor riesgo. Ver gráfico 16.<br />
