3. TRAUMATISMO TESTICULAR: • Precedido por un claro antecedente traumático, no plantea problemas diagnósticos. • En el caso de una traumatismo testicular la afectación va a depender del grado de intensidad del impacto. Se apreciara contusión , hematoma o rotura testicular. La rotura testicular supone una urgencia urológica y más del 80% de los teste pueden salvarse si se trata en las primeras 72 horas post‐traumatismo. • Ecográficamente puede apreciarse: ‐ Áreas parcheadas de alteración de la ecogenicidad, secundario a hematoma y/o infarto. ‐ Engrosamiento de cubiertas escrotales y hematocele. ‐ Es importante visualizar la integridad de la túnica albugínea ya que su ausencia de integridad indica estallido testicular que ha de corregirse quirúrgicamente.
