REFLEXIONES SOBRE LAS PRÁCTICAS DE GESTIÓN Y FACTORES... FASE 3. «Antes de la Repatriación» FASE 4. «Durante la Repatriación» – Conocer y Gestionar las Expectativas de los expatriados acerca de su Repatriación intentando acercarlas lo máximo posible a la realidad al regreso. – Ofrecer Formación y apoyo sobre la planificación del inminente regreso (temas fiscales, legales, etc.) – Consensuar el Plan de Carrera exacto para el repatriado, tomando en consideración las expectativas de carrera acordadas en la Fase 1 «Antes de la Expatriación» – Ofrecer formación al repatriado y su familia para paliar el choque cultural inverso y favorecer la adaptación tanto al entorno como a la empresa. – No exigir un rendimiento óptimo desde el inicio de la reincorporación al trabajo del repatriado, debido a que su adaptación y desempeño aún pueden no ser completos. – Dotar de un tutor al repatriado que le ayude en su adaptación. – Reubicar al repatriado en un puesto donde pueda emplear las habilidades adquiridas de forma que tanto la empresa como el individuo se beneficien del uso de las habilidades adquiridas durante la asignación internacional. – Ofrecer signos evidentes de la valoración de la experiencia internacional por parte de la empresa. FACTORES AJENOS A LA GESTIÓN DE LA EMPRESA Al margen de la gestión que lleve a cabo, la empresa deberá considerar: – Características de la Expatriación: duración de la expatriación y la distancia cultural entre países destino y origen. – Características de la Repatriación: tiempo transcurrido desde el regreso del repatriado, alternativas de empleo disponibles a su regreso. – Características Personales: eficacia personal, career activism, género, edad, estado civil, cambio de estatus social, personalidad multicultural y permanencia en la empresa. 199
