8 Maintenance<br />

Some models are equipped with internal stirring fans and external cooling fans. This section describes how to replace those fans if required.<br />

Replacing the Internal Stirring Fan<br />

Should the internal stirring fan be broken a “FAn” error will be triggered in the drive. In this case replace the fan as described below.<br />

1. Shut down the power supply to the drive wait 5 min. for DC bus capacitors to discharge.<br />

2. Remove the <strong>IP66</strong> front cover as described in Removing the Front Cover on page 9.<br />

3. Make sure the charge LED on the drive has gone off.<br />

4. Unplug the internal fan cable connector (3 wires, right side connector) from the drive.<br />

5. Unmount the stirring fan holding bracket (2x M4 screws) with the fan.<br />

6. Unmount the fan from the holding bracket (2x M3 screws).<br />

Unplug this connector<br />

Remove these two M4 screws to unmount<br />

the bracket that is holding the stirring fan.<br />

Remove these two M3 screws to<br />

unmount the fan from the bracket.<br />
