ABSTRACT
From a geological perspective, our tropical seas in the future will be involved in the race against
the global warming: square kilometers of coral artificial reefs will be able to stop the increase of
CO 2
atmospheric.
If of surviving it treats, it is not completely crazy to imagine a planetary future scene that involves
thousands of square kilometers of the tropical seas, our seas rationally used in the inexorable war
against our own work: the global warming. Though the massive production of the gases of the
greenhouse effect centers principally in the countries of moderate and boreal latitudes, it is very
possible that the most efficient counter-poison is in the tropical latitudes, under the sea. We will not
be, those of the south, the principal causers of such a been afraid and announced climatic global
change, but to our scope the best solution can be. Will we be able to take advantage of it?
In fact, the dimensions of the global danger are such that illustrious thinkers of our time, not without
reason think that, in the current environmental crisis, the species threatened is ours, the human
being. Our succinct biological possibilities of surviving are, obviously, very much minor to those of
species that they adapted in tens and hundreds of million years with everything and the significant
events and global changes that were given in these period. Nevertheless, many of these species
disappeared forever, and they continue disappearing. We doubt that our capacity of reason reprieves
us of suffering the logical consequences of our thirst, our hunger and our development for degrading,
on a large scale, the energy of the planetary system.

There would be necessary to propose a way to conceive a remedy, which is of the size of the same
disease: global remedy against global disease (Photograph 1).
